Take 1 cup of granulated sugar and dampen with 1/4 cup of sweet milk. Stir till it boils. Let it boil 4 minutes without stirring, then remove it from the fire and set the dish in another of cold water, and add flavoring while cooling. Stir or beat it until it becomes a thick, creamy frosting.
