Take 1/2 bushel of ripe tomatoes, 4 good-sized onions, 4 red peppers chopped fine. Add 10 tablespoonfuls of sugar, 5 tablespoonfuls of salt and 9 teacupfuls of cider vinegar. Boil 1 hour, and bottle.
