Take the grated rind and juice of 1 lemon, 1 cup of sugar, 2 tablespoonfuls of cornstarch, 1 cup of boiling .water and 1 egg. Cook on top of the stove and pour into a pie tin lined with a baked crust. Frost with the white of the egg and a little sugar beaten to a stiff froth. Put in the oven a few minutes to brown slightly.
