Take 1 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of vinegar, 1 cup of molasses, 1 cup of raisins, 1 cup of boiling water, 1 tablespoonful of corn-starch, 1 teaspoonful of cinnamon. 1/2 teaspoonful of cloves, 1/2 teaspoonful of nutmeg, and 2 eggs. Bake with 2 crusts.
