Recipes from The Inglenook Cookbook
by The Sisters of the Brethren Church (1906)
Take 1 cup of well-mashed potatoes, 1 1/2 cups of sweet milk, 3 tablespoonfuls of sugar, 1 teaspoonful of butter, 3 well-beaten eggs, season with nutmeg and cinnamon, to taste. Bake same as custard pie. Serve hot with sweet cream flavored with vanilla. This is delicious. This will make 1 pie.
