SHORTCAKES AND PUDDINGS

HUCKLEBERRY PUDDING
 

 Take 2 eggs, beat the whites separate, 1 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of sweet milk, 1 tablespoonful of butter, 2 tablespoonfuls of baking powder, 2 cups of flour, 1 pint of berries put in a dish and floured well, mixing up with the hands. Do not have berries wet when using the flour. Serve with sweetened milk.
