QVC is, once again, taking its number one show – In the Kitchen with David – on the road as it returns to the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen! Broadcasting live from the year’s most prestigious culinary event, the ‘In the Kitchen with David –Live from the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen’ show is scheduled to air Sunday, June 17 at noon (ET) and will feature a variety of culinary “must haves” as well as a star studded lineup of celebrity guests including Lidia Bastianich and Susan Feniger, who will be offering her much-anticipated new cookbook 'Street Food', before it hits stores.
During this exciting three hour show, ‘In the Kitchen with David’ Program Host David Venable will also be cooking up some excitement of his own as he offers shoppers the opportunity to order his highly-anticipated new cookbook 'In The Kitchen With David: A Classic Comfort Food Cookbook', more than four months before it hits stores.
In addition to the live broadcast, QVC will be celebrating its return to the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen with an interactive “QVC Experience” tent located at the entrance to the Grand Tasting Tents. Designed to bring the ‘In the Kitchen with David’ broadcast to life, the “QVC Experience” will allow attendees to sample recipes from Venable’s new cookbook and even participate in a blind wine tasting challenge where participants can vote on their favorite wines and ultimately decide which wines will be featured during the June 17 show. Visitors will also have the opportunity to preview premier cooking and dining products available through the retailer, including Kitchen Aid, Le Creuset, Capresso and more.
A Dell internet café for online shopping will also be available. Plus, a blind wine tasting challenge featuring brands available through QVC will take place and visitors will be encouraged to engage socially by posting photos and results of the tasting utilizing an interactive kiosk. The kiosk will also feature the QVC and In the Kitchen with David applications.
Fans are encouraged to tune in to the broadcast and visit QVC.com/ITKWD and its mobile apps starting June 17th for the opportunity to order products from the show.
