6 BANANAS, peeled and mashed
1 Cup butter or margarine
2 Cups brown sugar, firmly packed
4 Teaspoons eggs
4 Cups sifted flour
1/4 Teaspoons salt
2 Teaspoons baking soda
1 Cup raisins, seedless
1/2 Cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Toss raisins and nuts with dry ingredients.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with mashed bananas.
Pour into 2 well greased 9 x 5 loaf pans.
Bake at 350 degrees F 1 hour and 20 minutes or until tests done.
