Idaho is the 'Land of Famous Potatoes'
The Potato is Idaho's official State Vegetable (2002).
Idaho grows roughly one-third of the U.S. fall potato crop.
The 'Idaho' potato or 'Russet Burbank' potato was developed by Luther Burbank (1849-1926) in 1871.
It is against the law in Idaho to give anyone a box of candy that weighs more than 50 pounds.
The official State Fruit of Idaho is the Huckleberry (2000).
The official State Fish of Idaho is the Cutthroat Trout (Oncorhynchus clarkii).
