Very reminiscent of the era, a popular recipe found on the OLD BAY can in the 1950’s was the Classic Salmon Loaf, which used canned salmon and – you guessed it – was baked in a loaf pan. But today, OLD BAY is celebrating a new way to enjoy your salmon with an easy spice rub.
Prep Time: 5 min.
Cook Time: 10 min.
Makes: 4 servings
Ingredients
· 1 tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
· 1 tablespoon OLD BAY Seasoning
· 1 pound salmon fillets
· Oil
Directions
1) Mix brown sugar and OLD BAY in small bowl. Brush salmon lightly with oil. Rub generously with seasoning mixture.
2) Grill over medium-high heat 8 minutes per inch of thickness or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Test Kitchen Tip: OLD BAY Rub may be substituted for the OLD BAY Seasoning and brown sugar.
