16th Thessaloniki International Wine Competition

The only International Wine Competition held in Greece. Every March, during the Competition which is organized under the auspices of the O.I.V. (International Organization of Vine and Wine), Greek and foreign wine tasters (enologists, sommeliers and journalists) taste wines from Greece and abroad for 3 days. The public has the opportunity to taste the award-winning wines at a wine tasting event that is held every year after the end of the competition while winners receive the awards at an official awards ceremony.

International Exhibition for Bakery, Confectionery, Machinery, Raw Materials, Equipment and Readymade Products will be held at Thessaloniki International Exhibition and Congress Centre. The dynamic return of 'ARTOZYMA' is in response to the increased needs of domestic bakery and confectionery enterprises, enabling them to open channels of cooperation with neighbouring Balkan countries. After all, Thessaloniki has a long history in the production of bakery products, such as its renowned koulouri (sesame bun) and bougatsa (filled puff pastry). The 2016 event will include a particularly dynamic programme for inviting and hosting trade visitors from the broader region of SE Europe and group delegations of trade visitors, with great emphasis placed on the Balkan countries, covering the need for building partnerships and commercial contacts, with pre-arranged business meetings held within the framework of the Exhibition.
