Take 1 pint of sour milk, 3/4 pint of sugar, 3/4 pint of molasses, lard or butter size of an egg, 1 egg, 2 teaspoonfuls of soda, 2 teaspoonfuls of ginger, and 1 pint of raisins does not spoil it, but can be left out. Bake in bread pans and serve with jelly.
