Take good beefsteak, cut about again as thick as for an ordinary fry, broil both sides lightly, then cut in small bits and press the juice out with a good lemon squeezer. The fluid will look like blood and is very nutritious. Cool, add a little salt, and it will be quite palatable. Given in small portions at a time, this will remain on the stomach when all other foods fail.
