RECIPES FOR PIES

DRIED APPLE PIE
 

 Make pie dough, using 5 cups of flour, 2 cups of lard, salt and water. Roll a crust, put over it dried apples, mashed and seasoned with sugar and cinnamon to suit taste. Grate orange peeling over the top.
