Take the juice and grated rind of 2 lemons, 4 tablespoonfuls of flour, 3 pints of hot water, 5 eggs, 2 cups of sugar and 2 tablespoonfuls of vinegar. Heat all together, pour into 4 baked pie crusts. Take the whites of 3 of the eggs and 2 tablespoonfuls of sugar, beat to a stiff froth, spread on top of the pies, put .in the oven and bake to a delicate brown.
