HTML HERE ALICE MERRITT: Now I'm going to talk to you about soy products. Soy products actually are very healthy protein source and I highly recommend them for especially people on vegetarian diets. It's a great way that you can get a nutrient dense, good source of protein.
Healthy sources of soy products are things like soy milk, tofu, meso, tempeh, and the actual soybean which is called edamame. Soy products have been shown to help reduced your bad cholesterol levels, also they have been shown to be helpful somewhat for menopausal symptoms like hot flashes, they've been shown to help lower blood pressure, and some research shows that they can decrease your cancer risk.
Ways that you can incorporate soy into your diet, you can experiment with tofu in your cooking as your protein source, you can also try to incorporate soy milk or soy yogurt daily. Important things to remember about soy products are it's a very good source of protein, it's got lots of vitamins and minerals, it's a good source of calcium, you can incorporate tofu and experiment cooking with that, soy milk is great in your cereal, add it to smoothies. All of these things will help boost your health and are good sources of soy products.
