The Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee is one of the longest running events in the State of California.  It earliest roots date back to 1893, held that year in Copperopolis, the fair eventually found a permanent home outside of Angels Camp.  In the spirit of the old movie classic "State Fair," the Calaveras County Fair is a blend of entertainment, exhibits, livestock, arena events, great food and our signature event, the Frog Jump.

(formerly known as Long Beach Crawfish Festival).  New Orleans’ most exquisite flavors are heading out West to fill up the world’s largest crawfish pots. The California Winemasters is a perennial Wine Spectator Top 10 Charity Wine Auction at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank.  This extraordinary event showcases 50 international chefs and 75 of California’s Finest Wineries.  “Winemasters” has raised over $30 million in support of the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

May 26, 2024  Annual Vista Strawberry Festival - Vista, California
The Vista Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Annual Vista Strawberry Festival, sponsored by Tri-City Medical Center. Held on the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.  This year’s festival will be a day filled with fun, food, multiple entertainment stages, bands, carnival rides and local craft beer in the beer garden, and of course, strawberries!  The event will also host over 400 local vendors to showcase their local products to the community.  The Strawberry Festival is an entertaining event for all your family and friends that is sure to create new memories.  It is a free event to the public, so bring your family and friends and take part in the tradition of Vista!  The festival will be held in Historic Downtown Vista, beginning with the early morning Strawberry runs.  There are runs for children and all levels of adult runners.  If running isn’t your thing, there will also be the Miss Strawberry Pageant, cooking contests, pie eating contests, costume contests, Strawberry Idol, local artists and much more.  Attendance: 100,000.

This entertaining night of great food, local wines, silent and live auction raises funds for local youth culinary arts programs. The cook off features competitions in four mouth-watering categories: Beef Brisket, Pork Ribs, Chicken and Pork. Meet the celebrities and BBQ teams from the popular television show, BBQ Pit Masters and learn more about the age old craft of brewing beer. May 12, 2018  13th Annual Uncorked! Wine Festival
San Francisco, California
From 12 PM to 5 PM. In partnership with a local non-profit organization, Uncorked is a public event which provides an opportunity to taste, learn and experience wine from throughout Northern California.  Activities throughout the courtyards of Ghirardelli Square extending onto Beach Street, which will be closed to traffic.  Tasting tickets include a souvenir wine glass and unlimited tastings.  All other activities at are free. There is no admission fee to enter the event. Other activities include cooking demonstrations by renown Bay Area chefs, seminars such as “Wine 101” and “Chocolate & Wine Pairings.” Musical entertainment.  Attendance: 7,500.

We are sad to announce that the Great Wine Festival will not be returning in 2017.  The Great Wine Festival is a fundraiser for the Legal Aid Society of Orange County (LASOC), which is currently at risk of losing over 55% of its funding due to proposed federal budget cuts.  Our focus this year is establishing our Voices for Justice event as our primary annual fundraising event each October. We are working hard to bring the Great Wine Festival event back in the near future and will keep everyone posted on developments.
