Fix-it And Enjoy-it Cookbook

Makes: 6 servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 2 whole cloves
• 1/2 cup vinegar
• 3 15-oz. cans sliced beets, drained
• 3 Tbsp. orange marmalade
• 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Directions
1. Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, and cloves in a large heavy saucepan. Stir in vinegar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
2. Add beets to sauce. Cover and cook 15 minutes.
3. Stir in marmalade and butter until both melt.
