She contributes to the brand’s ‘Inside the Kitchen’ blog and appears regularly on TV. Samantha oversees the food category for the Good Housekeeping Seal and makes sure that claims in food advertisements can be substantiated.
Prior to working at GHRI, Samantha was the executive editor of SouthBeachDiet.com and wrote and edited numerous books, newsletters, and other publications for Johns Hopkins, including The Johns Hopkins Medical Letter: Health After 50, The Johns Hopkins Bulletin publications, and The Johns Hopkins White Paper: Nutrition and Weight Control. She also edited consumer reference books, including the Johns Hopkins Medical Guide to Health After 50 and Johns Hopkins Symptoms and Remedies.
Samantha received a B.A. degree from Vanderbilt University and an M.S. degree in Nutrition from Boston University. She is passionate about teaching her 8-year-old son (and all of his friends) the value of a healthy diet and lifestyle. And she's always trying to find ways to get him to eat more fruit!
