August 2-4, 2024
Taste of the Coeur d'Alene
Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
The Taste of Coeur d’Alene has become one of the Inland Northwest’s favorite festivals. Coeur d’Alene City Park on beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene in the summer is the ideal location for this event, attracting more than 50,000 seasonal and year-round residents and tourists, over three days. The festival’s fine art and crafts are showcased al fresco. The festival also features live professional music and a variety of quality foods and beverages including a beer garden featuring local micro brews. Admission to the festival is free to the public.

August 3, 2024  Annual Magic Valley Beer Festival - Twin Falls, Idaho
There will be over 60 Brewers this year, music, raffles, food and soda/water for designated drivers.

August 10, 2024  Boise Soul Food Festival - Boise, Idaho
Julia Davis Park, 11am to 8 pm.

August 10, 2024  Brews Fest Silver Mountain - Kellogg, Idaho
Come enjoy the craft offerings of breweries and cideries from the budding Inland Northwest craft beer scene. This is your chance to track down some local favorites that are only available in select taprooms, too. Craft beer aficionados and casual fans alike will enjoy the spectacular views, live music, and of course, the beer!

August 13-17, 2024  98th Bonner County Fair - Sandpoint, Idaho
The Bonner County Fair is a time for fun and education. The fairground is filled with rides, music, animals, rodeos, exhibits, contests, food booths and various activities for all ages. Plus a Demolition Derby on Saturday night.

August 16, 2024  Annual Zoo Brew - Idaho Falls, Idaho
Tautphaus Park Zoo, 5-9pm.  Enjoy an evening at the Zoo when the animals are active and you can taste some delicious brews. Tickets are $30 in advance.
 


 

August 16-18, 2024  Wallace Huckleberry Festival - Wallace, Idaho
Traditionally held on the third weekend in August, the festival has gone through a few name changes including Heritage Festival, and Wallace Huckleberry Heritage Festival... and sometimes it is just HuckFest for short. Each year it includes a blend of familiar and new events according to the desires of the unique band of volunteers who step forward in the spring to coordinate this major summer festival.

August 16-25, 2024  Western Idaho Fair - Boise, Idaho
The Fair features 4-H and FFA competitive exhibitions, showcasing Idaho crops, livestock, and arts; entertainment; agricultural excellence sholarship program; and much more. Wild Contests include the Bigelow Tea Beverage Throwdown, BOB-e-Que Battle, Cheezapalooza, Cupcake Combat, Fleischmann's Yeast Sensational Sandwich Bread Contest, Giant Pumpkin & Watermelon Contest, Milkshake Madness, Salsa Bowl Contest, Women's Skillet Toss, and World Onion Tour.

August 21-24, 2024  Idaho County Fair - Cottonwood, Idaho
The Greatest Show at the Idaho County Fair

August 24, 2024  Sawtooth Salmon Festival - Stanley, Idaho
Join educational tours to witness the miracle of wild salmon spawning in the streams of their birth. Then kick back and have fun perusing information and vendor booths food and live music.  The festival will be held at the Stanley Interpretive and Historical Association museum grounds.  Come and enjoy the prodigious mountains and sparkling waters of the Sawtooth Valley with music, activities and food.

August 28-September 2, 2024  Twin Falls County Fair and Magic Valley Stampede - Twin Falls County, Idaho
100 Years of Fun!  The Twin Falls County Fair and Magic Valley Stampede is known for its entertaining, educational, and lively activities. This year our goal is to make the Fair as impressive as ever, which means making it grow and prosper, while maintaining  a strong agriculturally-based, family-oriented atmosphere. This year’s mission is to hold on to the enthusiasm and maintain the success experienced with positive press and feedback from patrons.  Attendance: 92,000.

August 29-31, 2024  88th Annual Kamiah BBQ Days - Kamiah, Idaho
In 1936, a group of community minded merchants began to offer a free barbeque dinner as a way of saying thank you to area residents for their patronage. The Kamiah Chamber has carried on the tradition of BBQ Days for more than 70 years, organizing and sponsoring nearly every aspect of the Labor Day weekend event. Today, thousands of residents, former residents, and visitors take part in BBQ Days - and the event continues to grow each year.

August 30-September 2, 2024  Fall Fest 2024
Schweitzer Mountain Resort, Idaho
The festival begins Friday afternoon with two bands and over 80 beers, ciders, seltzers, and a handful of wines. Bring your blankets as there will be live music all weekend! The beer tent will be on the tennis courts near the bottom of the Great Escape Quad so you’ll never be too far from the beer. The party continues Saturday, Sunday and Monday with 8 more bands! For the kids we’ll have the soda station where they can mix their own flavors and create wild concoctions. We’ll have arts and crafts vendors throughout the village and a food court nearby.

August 30-Sept 7, 2024  Eastern Idaho State Fair - Blackfoot, Idaho
Attracting over 200,000 visitors, the fair offers agricultural exhibits, free entertainment, carnival, parade, rodeos, and delicious fair foods.  Attendance: 219,000

August 6, 2023  Raspberry Social - Cottonwood, Idaho
The Monastery of St. Gertrude and the Historical Museum at St. Gertrude’s are bringing back the summer celebration of raspberries on the first Sunday of August!  After an absence of two years, the celebration now known as the Raspberry Social has been revamped to allow for a more relaxing and safer experience for everyone.
