Here are JUST A FEW Featured Events:December Eastport Sardine and Maple Leaf Drop Eastport, Maine Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Eastport, Maine with the Great Sardine and Maple Leaf Drop at the Tides Institute and Museum of Art. The citywide international New Year’s Eve celebration features many downtown restaurants, shops, galleries and cultural organizations open throughout the day and evening. The Maple Leaf Drop is at 12 midnight (Atlantic Time) and the Great Sardine Drop is at 12 midnight (Eastern Time). Come and celebrate the New Year twice! March Maine Maple Sunday Various locations, Maine Enjoy Maine made maple syrup at the Annual Maine Maple Sunday. June Maine Whoopie Pie Festival Dover-Foxcroft, Maine Bakers from around the country come together to share their love of whoopie pies with the world! Whoopie Pies, great live music, artists, vendors, food and fun for all ages! July Annual Yarmouth Clam Festival Yarmouth, Maine A long, hilarious parade; spectacular fireworks; clam shucking contests; a firefighter's muster; road, kayak, and bicycle races; a pancake breakfast; concerts; and, of course, a delicious array of food.
