September 29-October 6, 2024 Fryeburg Fair - Fryeburg, Maine October 5, 2024 Chili, Chowder, & Brew Fest Bath, Maine Drawing hundreds of people each year, the CCF has become a serious tradition for food lovers all over the Midcoast area and beyond. Many of the most beloved restaurants in the area are participating, vying for both the coveted People’s Choice award and our new Judge’s Panel award. October 11-12, 2024 - Acadia's Oktoberfest - Bass Harbor, Maine Acadia's Annual Oktoberfest. Friday features the 13th Annual Wine Tasting, accompanied by music. Saturday marks our 27th Annual Brewfest, with food and Maine artisans selling their arts and crafts. October 12-14, 2024 - Annual Pumpkinfest & Regatta Damariscotta, Maine The festival features events ranging from the Atlantic Giant Pumpkin weigh-off to parades, pumpkin catapults, pie eating and dessert making contests, hunts, and more. The highlight is the Pumpkin Regatta, in which participants race giant hollowed-out pumpkins on the Damariscotta River. The festival kicks off with the pumpkin weigh-in , with $10,000 in prizes. Giant pumpkins are then delivered to Main Street, where local artists turn them into works of art. The weekend is when most activities occur. A parade, pumpkin drop, hunt, hurl and derby, are just a few activities. Live music and street performances and kids activities will take place throughout the weekend. Pumpkinfest culminates with the Regatta, giant pumpkins powered by paddle or motor, racing to take home the cherished “golden gourd” trophy.

Celebrate the history, flavor and tradition of Maine apples. Educational workshops and talks on tree pruning, cooking, and cider making. See and taste heirloom varieties. October 21-24, 2024 NAMSC Annual Meeting - Portland, Maine North American Maple Syrup Council. October 24-26, 2024 Harvest on the Harbor - Portland, Maine Experience wine tastings, food seminars, cooking competitions, and gourmet cuisine from award-winning local chefs—the best of Maine food, wine, beer, and spirits set against breathtaking Casco Bay. The largest trade and consumer event in the state. Attendance: 5,000. November 23-24, 2024 Maine Harvest Festival - Bangor, Maine Join growers, bakers, cheese artisans, vintners, and brewers from across Maine at the Maine Harvest Festival. Attendance: 5,000. November 28, 2024 - THANKSGIVING DAY - Nationwide There are so many events today, they are to numerous to list. November 30, 2024 Annual Tree Lighting with Santa Brunswick, Maine Ring in the season with neighbors and friends at the Brunswick Downtown Association’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony! 3pm – 6:00pm: Enjoy free Horse and Carriage rides, hot cocoa and coffee and cookies. Santa and Frosty the Snowman will arrive at 3 PM on a firetruck Santa will then take a seat in the Gazebo to visit with children and hear their Christmas wishes. 4pm – 5:00pm: The Brunswick High School Chorus will sing carols. 5:00pm: The tree will be lit! December 31, 2024 Eastport Sardine and Maple Leaf Drop Eastport, Maine Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Eastport, Maine with the Great Sardine and Maple Leaf Drop at the Tides Institute and Museum of Art. The citywide international New Year’s Eve celebration features many downtown restaurants, shops, galleries and cultural organizations open throughout the day and evening. The Maple Leaf Drop is at 12 midnight (Atlantic Time) and the Great Sardine Drop is at 12 midnight (Eastern Time). Blue Hill, Maine The Peninsula Harvest Festival will take place from 11:00am – 3:00pm at Mainescape Garden Shop in Blue Hill. The group includes Mainescape, the Blue Hill Heritage Trust and several community members, with assistance from the Chamber of Commerce. Because of the success of the Taste of the Peninsula over the past several years, it seemed essential to carry on with an “end-of-season” festival. This will be a vendor driven event celebrating local farms, local food & drink, and local artisans. October 20, 2019 Maine Lobsterpalooza - Rockland, Maine Welcome to the all new Lobsterpalooza Tasting Event at the Rockland Elks Club sponsored by Blueberry Broadcasting. The event is open to just 15 Chefs. The event is open to the public with 200 tickets available for $15 each in advance or at the door. Each chef is to provide 2oz. tastings for the public, we will provide plastic tasting cups for your use or you may bring your own. All profits from this event go to the AIO Food Pantry and Fuel Assistance Program servicing Knox County families.
