September 12-15, 2024 - NAMA Annual Meeting - Sun Valley, Idaho
The North American Millers' Association (NAMA) is the trade association of the wheat, corn, oat and rye milling industries. Member companies operate mills in 38 states and Canada, representing more than 90 percent of total industry production capacity.

September 19-22, 2024 - 80th Annual Nez Perce County Fair
Lewiston, Idaho
A Celebration of the special qualities of life in Nez Perce County.  4-H livestock, horticulture, home economics, fine arts, and entertainment. The Nez Perce County Fair presents an opportunity for both young and old to exhibit their special skills and hard work.

September 20-22, 2024  Potato Days - Meridian, Idaho
At Kleiner Memorial Park! The event will mark the largest public celebration of the potato in Idaho.  Potato Days will boast a massive potato art installation featuring chalk art from over 60 local artists. There will be a french fry competition, live performances in the band-shell, carnival games, a vendor area, bubble garden, and bouncy houses.

September 21, 2024  Annual Idaho Spud Day - Shelley, Idaho
Shelley Idaho Kiwanis Club.  Annual Idaho Spud Day is a country-style gala celebration of the Idaho potato offering fun for visitors of all ages. Events include a parade, music, demolition derby, free baked potato lunch at noon, Dutch oven cook-off, World championship potato picking, and Spud Tug.

September 27-28, 2024  31st Annual Harvest Festival & Street Fair
Emmett, Idaho
Among the many charms of a rural lifestyle is Harvest Time. This important season marks the rewards of a year of hard work preparing, planting, tending, and more tending.  The reward of months of toil. Harvest is celebrated when the region's crops come in. There is feasting drawn form the crops of the season and a sense of relief, relaxation and lots of social gathering to share in the delights of another year's accomplishment.  Join us again this year for another celebration of our harvest!  This is a FREE event to attend full of wonderful food vendors, arts and craft vendors, and entertainment! Local orchards are available for picking too!

A cultural heritage festival relating to the history of sheep ranching in Idaho.  Includes - Cooking with Lamb workshop;  For the Love of Lamb;  SheepTales Gathering;  Lamb Feast at the Folklife Fair featuring the Valley's best chefs and restaurants;  Sheepherding Storytelling Lamb Barbecue;  Fiber workshop; Fiber Fest;  A Sheepherder's Ball with the Hhot Club of Cowtown;  Folklife Fair featuring demonstrations, music, dancers, displays, activities, artisans and shops;  Parade, featuring 1,500 sheep down Main St., Ketchum, Idaho.

October 4-5, 2024  Oktoberfest - Lava Hot Springs, Idaho

December 31, 2024  12th Annual Idaho Potato Drop - Boise, Idaho
This New Year’s Eve in Downtown Boise, the Idaho New Year’s Commission & The Idaho Potato Commission, will be hosting the annual Idaho Potato Drop for thousands of spec-taters in front of the Idaho State Capitol.  The Idaho New Year’s Commission hosts a free community New Year’s Eve celebration to ring in the new year with a lasting tradition that puts Idaho on the map as a world destination for New Year’s Eve. With music, fun, fireworks, games and a true VIP experience, this event promotes community and commerce in Idaho while creating awareness for Idaho’s beloved Potato. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to programs helping Idaho’s homeless population. To help raise money for this effort please purchase VIP tickets, t-shirts, sweaters and gear or be a hero and donate at Potato Drop Shop.
