Serves 8 - 10 as an appetizer
INGREDIENTS
• 4 slices whole wheat or white bread, cut into cubes
• 1/2 cup Florida skim milk
• 1 Florida egg
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 2 teaspoons chopped Florida garlic
• 2 tablespoons dried oregano leaves
• 3 tablespoons dried mint leaves
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 pound ground Florida venison
DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, combine bread cubes and milk; let stand 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Roll into 1 inch balls and place on greased baking pan.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.
