The Annual County fair is truly a “home-grown” fair featuring everything from farm animals to blue ribbon pies. This year there will be live entertainment, educational booths, food, and fun for children of all ages. Horse show & livestock, small animals, agriculture, floriculture, handicrafts, lapidary, fine arts, photography, and other exhibits will be on display.

September 14, 2024  13th Annual Rockin' Taco Street Fest
Chandler, Arizona
A food, music and cultural celebration, Rockin' Taco Street Fest will feature creative tacos including fish, shrimp, chicken, carnitas, carne asada, veggie and more from two dozen local restaurants. Wash it all down with fresh fruit fresca, Mexican cerveza, tequila tasting, margaritas and more. Plus, save room for elote, churros and palettas! Other event highlights include live entertainment, wrestling, taco eating competitions, a salsa competition,  low rider car show, margarita hut with flair bartending, mariachi bands, ballet folklorico dancing, niños play zone and a piñata party.
 


 

Sept 14-15 & 21-22, 2024 - Taste of Fall Experience - Willcox, Arizona
Move over pumpkin spice, apple is taking over this weekend! Join us for two weekends in September for an all-new experience at our Taste of Fall Event! You won’t want to miss fall treats exclusive to these weekends! Apple cider slushie floats, cider donut sundaes, salted caramel topped apple pie by the slice, apple cinnamon pancake breakfast and grilled apple burger lunches.  When you are done eating take a walk through the orchards and pick your own apples.  It will be a tasty event you don’t want to miss.

From sizzling Southwestern and soothing comfort foods to five-star dining and international fare – it’s all on the table during Arizona Restaurant Week.

September 20-October 27, 2024  Arizona State Fair - Phoenix, Arizona
140 years ago, in the territorial days before statehood, Arizonans first began coming together to show their best livestock, share their agricultural accomplishments, and have fun. Today's fair includes concerts, livestock shows & displays, rodeos, midway, and hundreds of wonderful exhibits.  Attendance: 1.3 million.

EVENT CANCELLED.  With our apologies, The Arboretum will not be hosting the Wine in the Woods – AZ Style event this year.  The Arboretum is currently transitioning in our operations, which involves streamlining staffing and reviewing our programs and events with the sole purpose of strengthening The Arboretum’s future sustainability and longevity, while adhering to our mission of increasing the understanding, appreciation, and conservation of plants and plant communities native to the Colorado Plateau.

American Emu Association.  Emu farmers from across the United States and around the world will attend the 3 day American Emu Association (AEA) National Convention  AEA members along with other emu growers, will meet for 3 days of education and demonstrations with a chance to meet new people and visit with old friends.

Bacon. The Blues. Brews. Three of the worlds greatest joys mashed together for an afternoon of awesome!  Join Tucson Originals Restaurants Tucson’s oldest association of local independent restaurants at Brother John’s Beer Bourbon & BBQ for the annual Bacon, Blues & Brews event.  Guests will be treated to unlimited small bites of bacon-themed dishes from a growing list of participating restaurants. Chef Series: Big Bites for Our Littles

Chef Kevin Binkley, of Binkley’s in Phoenix, is bringing his culinary mastery to Prescott to benefit the children of Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters, a Prescott nonprofit whose mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring one-to-one mentoring relationships to positively change their lives. This first event in the YBBBS Chef Series: Big Bites For Our Littles will feature Chef Binkley’s signature multiple-courses, crafted from locally-grown ingredients, in an intimate gathering at The Ranch House in Talking Rock. This exclusive evening at Talking Rock offers only 60 seats, and those are going quickly.
