Hosted by celebrity Chef Plum, and featuring a performance by Dre Towey, who recently released her children’s album In a Pickle. The 15-catchy and fun songs all reference food, to encourage a healthy and fun conversation between parents and their children. The Bravery Passport was created to highlight Food Revolution Founder, Jamie Oliver’s wish: “To create a strong sustainable movement to educate every child about food, inspire families to cook again and empower people everywhere to fight obesity.” Register in advance for a Bravery Passport, which lists participating local restaurants and shops. Kids then go on a food trail, sampling tasters and getting a stamp for their passport. This year we will be welcoming back local band 'Mind The Gap' and are asking participants to drop off non perishable foods to benefit The Connecticut Food Bank. Registration is essential due to limited spaces, so please visit the website. |
