January 18, 2025  Annual Apalachicola Oyster Cook-Off
Apalachicola, Florida
This year’s Oyster Cook-Off features a silent auction, oysters galore, shrimp, smoked mullet, hot dogs, hamburgers, local beer, live music, kids’ activities, dancing performances and a 5K run! Enter your best recipe and be a contestant in the oyster cook-off or just come out and enjoy a day of wonderful food, refreshments and music.  All proceeds goes directly towards paying for the brand new fire truck they were able to purchase a few years ago, due to this sole fundraising event!

January 24-25, 2025  28th Annual Lakeland Pigfest - Lakeland, Florida
SUN n’ FUN Expo Campus in Lakeland.  Join the Lakeland Pigfest Board of Directors and the over 150 competition barbecue teams for a weekend of good eatin’, good friends, and good tunes to benefit Lakeland-area charities as we kick off the Annual Lakeland Pigfest!  Free Parking. Admission $5, under 12 free. The good eatin’ will cost you some grub. Stop by a Pig Bucks booth (located near the entrance and various locations throught) and exchange your cash for Pig Bucks, the official currency of the Lakeland Pigfest. By purchasing food from competition teams, you are supporting their efforts and local charities.  Attendance: 30,000.

January 24-26, 2025  Naples Winter Wine Festival - Naples, Florida
The Naples Winter Wine Festival is ranked among the top 10 arts and entertainment events for wealthy Americans. This ranking by the Luxury Institute is based on exclusivity, quality and prestige. Since 2004, the festival has earned the distinction of being the most successful charity wine auction in the nation according to Wine Spectator. The event brings many of the world's finest vintners and chefs together with wine collectors and philanthropists for a three-day gala in picturesque Naples, Florida.

January 24-26, 2025  Naples Seafood & Music Festival - Naples, Florida
This event will offer a variety of seafood, cooked fresh on site by local restaurants and food purveyors. Seafood dishes are prepared using only the freshest local and sustainable ocean resources from the Florida Gulf Coast. Also select from meat and vegetarian offerings and a diverse menu of side dishes and desserts. Alcoholic, non-alcoholic and fruit drinks are available.

January 25, 2025  Annual Kumquat Festival - Dade City, Florida
Celebrates the harvest of kumquats, a sweet and sour fruit that is a member of the citrus family. Some festivities include: a farmer”s market, wagon rides, antique cars and tractors, tasty kumquat dishes and craft shows.

January 25-26, 2025  17th Annual Indian River Marine Flea Market and Seafood Festival - Vero Beach, Florida
Indian River Fairgrounds.  The Treasure Coast largest 'Nautical Flea Market'. For boat owners, fisherman, divers and anyone with an interest in all things nautical, the Show is a bargain hunter's dream-come true. Private individuals and marine related businesses will be selling new and used marine equipment, marine antiques, new and used boats, fishing tackle, diving gear, marine artwork and other boating and fishing related items at unbelievably low prices.

January 31-February 2, 2025  Englewood Seafood & Music Festival
Englewood, Florida
A weekend of great food and music as a new tradition in Englewood commences: the Englewood Seafood & Music Festival. Held in Pioneer Park on West Dearborn Street, hours both Saturday and Sunday are 10 am to 6 pm and general admission to the event and live musical performances is FREE.  Hosted by the Olde Englewood Village Association, Sarasota County Government and the Englewood Community Redevelopment Agency.  Delicious foods are cooked onsite by local restaurants and food purveyors using only the freshest ingredients.  All seafood dishes are prepared using sustainable ocean resources from the Florida Gulf Coast.  Meat entrees and a variety of vegetarian and rice dishes also are on the menus. Alcoholic drinks (beer, wine and mixed-drinks) and non-alcoholic drinks (water, sodas and blended fruit drinks) are available. Enjoy your meal while listening to some of Florida’s top musical groups. Also enjoy a Marketplace of arts, crafts and fine products.

January 23-28, 2024  15th Annual Key West Food and Wine Festival
Key West, Florida
Welcome Center at Ocean Sotheby’s Realty.  Spain is the worlds largest producer of olive oil with 42% of the worlds production & second largest producer of wine.  This years events are presented by famous Spanish artists, the food and wine will be from the regions they were born. From Malaga on the Southern coast to Barcelona on the northern coast, Jerez in the south and the Basque Country to the north.  The foods will be all about Spain, including Tapas, Pintxos, Valencian Paella, roast suckling pig, Jamón Ibérico & Crema Catalana.

January 27, 2024  14th Annual Sunshine State Steak Cook-Off
Ave Maria, Florida
The Largest Steak Competition East of the Mississippi River.  Join us for the Annual Sunshine State Steak Cook-off, featuring tens of grill teams vying for a top prize in this professionally-judged event! This fundraiser is hosted by Ave Maria Quasi Parish to benefit local charities. This year, the cook-off is in conjunction with the "Great American Saturday," hosted by Ave Maria Development.  All grill teams are welcome. Entry fee is per team. Tickets for the Sunshine State Steak Cook-Off are $30.00 per person and include live music, kids fun zone, and 16oz Ribeye steak, salad, roll, baked potato, and water.

January 27-28, 2024  10th Annual Miami Brickell Art Festival
Miami, Florida
After 9 years as the Miami/Coral Gables Art & Mega Festival, this annual art fest has moved to a new location in the Brickell area and renamed itself accordingly.  There will also be live music, food, activations and more. As part of the main art fest, festival goers can enjoy a lineup of food and and drink festivals and events that include the Miami/Brickell Beer, Wine & Spirits Festival; the Brickell Seafood Festival and Burgers, Beer & Babaloo.  Free admission includes access to festival events. Festival events featuring unlimited samples of food, beer, wine and spirits require a separate ticket

January 15, 2021  FWA Auction Night on the Farm - Fort Myers, Florida
Florida Watermelon Association.  Join the FWA for Auction Night on the Farm and help raise money for marketing and promotions for 2021.  This is a free event but registration is required. January 21-23, 2021  Butts & Clucks Cook-Off on the Bay
Apalachicola, Florida
The Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce’s newest event.  The Butts & Clucks Cook-off on the Bay, has been sanctioned by the Florida BBQ Association and is now a regional championship BBQ Cook-off with over $15,000 in prizes to be awarded and the winner moving on to the Jack Daniels Championship.  Include there will be a Judging seminar on Thursday, January 24th for anyone interested in being a state certified BBQ Judge.  Also, during the event we will be having a Deviled Egg (The Cluck that came from the Butt Contest) contest).

January 4, 2020  Big Swamp Smoke-Off 2020 - Naples, Florida
The Collier County Fair is proud to announce its 8th annual Big Swamp Smoke-Off Bar-B-Que competition. A large contingent of the country's top cook teams will arrive in Naples to compete as the top cooks. Our two day event will include activities for the kids, live entertainment, and other vendors. The competition will take place at the Collier County Fairgrounds. Admission is Free for Adults and Children.

January 10-12, 2020  St. George Annual Greek Festival

January 18, 2020 - 9th Annual Florida Key Lime Pie Festival
Merritt Island, Florida
The Florida Key Lime Pie Company will be presenting its Annual Florida Key Lime Pie Festival at Brevard Veterans Memorial Park in Merritt Island. It’s a fun filled day with live music, food trucks, street performances, Key Lime Pie Contests and Florida’s best Key Lime Pie.  Admission: $10 For Adults; $5 Children 12 and under; children 4 and under free. A percentage of this year’s ticket sales will be donated to the veterans memorial fund as well as all current and retired United States Military Members will receive free admittance with your military I.D.

January 24-26, 2020  36th Annual Mullet Festival and Buzzard Lope
Goodland, Florida
The three-day festival attracts nearly 5,000 people to Goodland. Fried and smoked mullet are featured and the Buzzard Lope Queen is named during the event. Held annually at Stan's Idle Hour the weekend before the Super Bowl.  Attendance: 5,000.

January 24-26, 2020  Wine Weekend St. Pete - St. Petersburg, Florida
The Margaret Acheson Stuart Society invites you to join us for the most spectacular weekend ever in St Petersburg, Florida. Wine Weekend St Pete benefits the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg, Florida, the arts, its legacy, and its many children’s programs. It is the largest fundraising event for the Museum of Fine Arts representing all that is exquisite, including a elegant wine pairing dinner, an exciting auction and a celebratory champagne brunch plus, optional events that you will not want to miss! This year our theme is Putting on the Glitz: Old Hollywood Style.

Find out everything you ever needed to know about chocolate from the experts.  The Chocolate Festival at Fairchild admission is included with Garden admission. $25 for non members and free for Fairchild Members. Tickets for non members can be purchased the day of the festival or on the website.

January 31-February 8, 2020  DeSoto County Fair & Livestock Show
Arcadia, Florida
Our Fair consists of pageants for the young ladies and talent shows for the youth and adults. In the barn, beef, swine, rabbit, poultry and goats are exhibited and judged. Beef and swine are sold at auction to benefit our exhibiting youth. Your support in this area is important, as many of our youth use the proceeds from the sale of their animals to build an educational fund. Sales often exceed $200,000.00 in revenue for our youth. Our exhibit building provides space for the 4-H exhibitors and students to show off their projects and earn awards.

January 15, 2018  The Dinner - West Palm Beach, Florida
The Dinner is an evening of discovery for the taste buds with a five-course offering prepared and provided by the top chefs and restaurants in Palm Beach County. January 20, 2018  Brew on the Bay 2018 - Key Largo, Florida
CANCELLED - The Rotary Club of Key Largo has had to cancel our Brew of the Bay craft beer festival scheduled for January 20, 2018.  This was a very difficult decision but ultimately the uncertainty regarding the venue, Rowell's Waterfront Park,  which is currently being used to handle Hurricane Irma debris put too much at risk at this late of date.

January 30-31, 2016  Taste of Pine Island - Pine Island, Florida
11:00 am-5:00 pm at Phillips Park at Pine Island Center.  Admission to the event is a donation of $6.00 for adults. Children age 10 and under are admitted free. We are also collecting canned and dry goods for the Pine Island Food Pantry.  The event provides visitors the unique and rare occasion to sample various familiar and not-so familiar local cuisine.  This annual event offers a wide variety of food from area establishments, arts and craft vendors, music, and activities; including the famous Chowder and Chili Cook-offs and the legendary Fish Drop. Also returning this year will be bounce houses and other activities for the kids and for the adults Pine Island Kiwanis’ signature Iwanakiwana rum drinks, margaritas, and selections from Budweiser will be available
