70th Annual Chiefland Watermelon Festival
Chiefland, Florida
Held on the first Saturday in June, the annual Watermelon Festival is perhaps the biggest event in Chiefland during the year, drawing thousands of visitors from all parts of the state. It includes arts & crafts, children's activities, watermelon auction, weighing contest, parade, and queen contest.

This is your chance to sample over 50 local dessert vendors that you might not know about. Whether you prefer cookies, ice cream or donuts, our vendors sample their best and compete to be Dessert Wars Champion!

June 1, 2024  30th Annual Wellborn Blueberry Festival
Wellborn, Florida
The annual event includes a blueberry bake-off, pancake breakfast, talent contest, arts & crafts, and entertainment.

June 3, 2024 - Culinary Creations Dinner - Wellington, Florida
Wycliffe Golf & Country Club.  Join Quantum House for Culinary Creations, in partnership with the American Culinary Federation's Palm Beach Chapter. Inspired by some of the region’s most talented chefs and chaired by the Executive Chef of Banquets at The Breakers, Jeff Simms, this event is a unique tasting experience unlike any other.  Guests can expect the complete package from tasty drinks to a delectable menu. Every palate will be satisfied. The event is complete with a silent and live auction.

June 8, 2024  Annual Mullet Toss - St. George Island, Florida
This event takes place on the second Saturday of June each year. The Mullet Toss is sponsored by The Blue Parrot for the benefit of the Apalachicola bay Charter School. For a $30.00 entry fee you get a unique Mullet Toss T Shirt, and 2 mullet to throw. Visitors and Locals compete for prizes and bragging rights.  There are prizes for the longest throws in the men's, women's and kids divisions. Located on the Blue Parrot Beach 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
 

June 14-15, 2024  73rd Annual Watermelon Festival
Monticello, Florida
The Watermelon Festival is the highlight of community activities in Jefferson County. Recognizing the watermelon growers of the county, the festival includes beauty pageants, dinners, street dance, arts and crafts, Melon Run and more.  Attendance: 7,000.

June 21-22, 2024  Annual Panhandle Watermelon Festival
Chipley, Florida

June 21-23, 2024  Fire on the Lake Chili Cook-off - Lake Wales, Florida
Camp Mack, a Guy Harvey Lodge, Marina and RV Resort. This year our sanctioned ICS Chili Cook-off Competition expands to include a JEEP Rally with a 7 Slot Salute to the Veterans for the Most Patriotic jeep, among others. Lake Kissimmee will be ablaze with competition as hot as the music. The Camp Mack Riverfront will be alive with chili tastings, live music and specialty food and craft vendors.

Taste of the Caribbean is the region’s premier culinary competition and cultural showcase. Once a year the best chefs and culinary teams unite to learn, demonstrate their skills and provide the general public a scintillating exhibition of the most savory and delectable treats of the islands. Pinellas Park, Florida.
Cajun Café on the Bayou.  Beer lovers will enjoy over 150 beers to taste, including the most sought after Sours,  Berliner Weisses and Lambics. The beer-garden atmosphere is 90% under cover. Admission includes souvenir tasting glass, Cajun plate and other food included. The event hosts a fundraiser for Dunedin Doggie Rescue.

June 4, 2015  25th Annual Jacksonville Foodfight - Jacksonville, Florida
Each year volunteers representing the local restaurant community host this event, featuring 50 or more of Jacksonville’s finest restaurants and beverage distributors who come together in friendly competition to “take a bite out of hunger” by raising funds and awareness for Second Harvest North Florida.  Tickets are $60 in advance or $70 at the door. VIP tickets are $100.

June 6, 2015  6th Annual Pigfest 2015 - Tallahassee, Florida
We regret that the 2016 Southeast Regional Pigfest event is postponed until the organization has a chance to explore how to make the event sustainable. This is a fundraiser for Community Action.
