Owensville Watermelon Festival - Owensville, Indiana
Celebrating the watermelon harvest with a hometown parade, delicious food, games, free daily entertainment, carnival rides, craft vendors, parade, and a 5K run finished off with a watermelon eating contest!

August 2-18, 2024 - Indiana State Fair - Indianapolis, Indiana
Celebrating the Hoosier Spirit, the Fair includes Family Fun Park, Livestock Barns, Entertainment, Machinery Field, Parades, Midway, Culinary Stage, Antique Tractor Show, Brewer's Cup Competition, and Taste of the Wild Cookout, as well as World's Largest Male Hog, Giant Pumpkin, Giant Watermelon, Giant Tomato, Smoothie Blend-off, and Celebrity Milking Contests.  Attendance: 975,000.

August 8-10, 2024  Sweet Corn Festival - Oakland City, Indiana
Celebrate one of this area's bounties with a parade, games, carnival rides, crafts, beauty pageant, live entertainment, fried chicken dinners and of course corn on the cob.

August 16-17, 2024  22nd Madison Ribberfest - BBQ & Blues

August 22-25, 2024  52nd Annual Swiss Wine Festival - Vevay, Indiana
Salute the cultural heritage of Switzerland County with Indiana wines, culinary delights, entertainment on three stages, grape stomps, canoe racing and riverboat cruises on the scenic Ohio River.
 

August 23-24, 2024  Indianapolis GreekFest - Indianapolis, Indiana
Authentic Greek cuisine, live music/dancing, bazaar, cooking demonstrations, church tours, and more!

August 30-September 2, 2024  58th Annual Marshall County Blueberry Festival - Plymouth, Indiana
Blueberry products like Blueberry Pie, Blueberry Brats, Blueberry Ice Cream, Blueberry Donuts or just plain fresh Blueberries! Family-friendly atmosphere and Midwestern hospitality that attract over 500,000 people every year to blueberry country.  Attendance: 500,000.

This unique event, located at the Wellfield Botanic Gardens, combines fine art with the finest in culinary art. In its first year it brought record crowds to enjoy artists' work, music, and the cuisine of area restaurants, all within the beautiful setting of the gardens.

August 26, 2017 - 8th Annual Hoosier Hops and Harvest
Story, Indiana
A festival that will feature virtually every craft beer produced in the Hoosier state, paired with food grown locally and prepared by renowned local chefs.
