For 50 years, the Iowa Pork Producers Association has been putting together the Iowa Pork Congress, an event that combines business, education, achievement recognition, and social get-togethers for those whose daily lives depend on pork production.

February 4-6, 2025  Iowa AG Expo - Des Moines, Iowa
No need to travel far to see the latest farm equipment, high tech electronics and precision agriculture when the Iowa Ag Expo brings the biggest names and newest innovations to Des Moines each winter.  Attendance: 20,000+

February 11-12, 2025  Iowa Specialty Producers Conference
Ankeny, Iowa
The Iowa Wine Growers Association (IWGA) has partnered with the Iowa Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association (IFVGA) to host the Iowa Specialty Producers Conference. The event was a huge success and is a continued effort for the associations each year. The ISPC is made possible in part through grant funding from the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS).  The conference features keynote speaker and multiple breakout session tracks focusing on viticulture, enology, fruits, vegetables, other specialty crops and business/marketing.

January 23-24, 2020  IWGA Annual Conference - Ankeny, Iowa
Iowa Wine Growers Association.  Our Iowa wine/vine industry is strong; over 200 people attended the 2016 meeting, and 30 vendors participated in the conference. Iowa has over 300 commercial vineyards and more than 100 wineries, making the IWGA Annual Conference a direct connection to your target market.

January 24, 2020 - Spud Night - Madrid, Iowa
Iowa Arboretum. Create your own mouthwatering creations at the Iowa Arboretum’s spud bar. Butter, sour cream and all the fixings will be available.  Dr. Ajay Nair, Associate Professor of Horticulture and Vegetable Production Specialist, will speak at 5:30 pm about potato fun facts.  Tickets are $8 a person. May 23-24, 2015  7th Annual Smokin' in the Junction BBQ Contest
West Des Moines, Iowa
Join us for hot BBQ, great food, live music, food vendors, kids activities, inflatables, the beer garden and two days full of fun!  Sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) our event is one of the largest BBQ competitions in Iowa and includes over $10,000 in team prizes. Food and drink may not be purchased from our competitors, but is available from food vendors located along 5th Street.
