May 9-11, 2024  Rayne Frog Festival - Rayne, Louisiana
The annual Rayne Frog Festival with a full schedule of music, delicious foods and drinks, signature events such as frog racing and jumping, selection of the Rayne Lions Club Derby Queen, Diaper Derby, Arts & Crafts show at the Civic Center and the Grande Parade.

May 11, 2024  6th Annual Mud Bug Boil Off - Thibodaux, Louisiana
Come join us for a family fun event in the Historic Downtown Thibodaux area with great food, live music, and fun for all ages. Proceeds to go to three local non-profit organizations - Children's Advocacy Center of Lafourche, Thibodaux Main Street, Inc. and the Thibodaux Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #52.

May 11, 2024  Annual Cochon de Lait Festival - Mansura, Louisiana
Held annually on 2nd weekend in May, the festival mixes great cajun food, good times and music with cochon de lait (French for roast suckling pig). Includes a giant midway, nightly street dances, contests, parade, arts/crafts booths and so much more.

May 24-26, 2024  Mudbug Madness 39 - Shreveport, Louisiana
One of Louisiana’s largest and most popular Cajun festivals, with Crawfish Boil, Cajun, Zydeco, Blues and Jazz artists, mouth-watering Cajun cuisine, raucous contests, and fun for all ages. Mudbug Madness draws as many as 56,000 people in one day.  Attendance: 56,000.

May 24-26, 2024  57th Annual Jambalaya Festival - Gonzales, Louisiana
The festival features World Champion Jambalaya served daily, live music and entertainment, carnival rides, cooking contests, a variety of food and so much fun it takes four days to get it all in.

May 31, 2024  Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off - Monroe, Louisiana
Competing chefs line the stage in this live cooking, fast paced, culinary throw down. Chefs from all corners of the state come together in one arena to compete for the winning crown. In addition to earning the title of King or Queen of Louisiana Seafood, the winner goes on to represent the state at a variety of events including the Great American Seafood Cook-Off.

12:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center. Tixs are $30 and include 3 lbs of crawfish, corn, potatoes, sausage & 2 drink tickets.

New Orleans, Louisiana - EVENT CANCELED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.
The New Orleans Oyster Festival will educate the country about the benefits of the Louisiana Gulf Oyster, honor and celebrate the restaurateurs and oyster farmers who have solidified the New Orleans French Quarter's position as the "Oyster Capital of America"

This exciting weekend will be highlighted by a craft market Saturday and Sunday, carnival rides and delicious Cajun foods all weekend, including a Mother's Day Brunch featuring Cook Bob Faulk, who will be showcasing the famous Mt. A pastry competition full of scintillating displays of burlesque, pastries and cocktails features celebrity chefs and judges alongside Burlesque starlets, Trixi Minx & Bella Blue. Join this after-party following the Saturday Night Grand Tasting and chose your favorite delight. The winning design and pastry chef will be awarded a $5000 prize sponsored by Swiss Chalet.
