Alabama Strawberry Festival
Cullman, Alabama
We’re excited to announce that the Cullman Strawberry Festival is now bigger and juicier, expanding to a two-day extravaganza kicking off your Summer!  An annual festival that goes back over 80 years. The festival features a traditional pageant for ages 0 months to 12th-grade girls, a craft show, live music, local food vendors, and all the strawberries one can eat! Named for the wild Pokeweed and the German word for "salad", the festival will offer an ice cream eating contest, a variety of food, crafts, and live music.

May 18, 2024  Catfish Festival at Jackson County Park
Scottsboro, Alabama
A great hometown festival including a catfish tournament for adults, catfish rodeo for children, arts and crafts show, car show, and free concerts.

May 1, 2019 - 31st Annual Taste of the Bayou - Irvington, Alabama
The 5th annual Alabama Seafood Cook-Off (ASCO) will take place with the 31st annual Taste of the Bayou. While four top chefs from around the state compete for the ASCO title, guests will have the opportunity to sample four varieties of Fresh Seafood.  Held at the Bayou La Batre Community Center.

May 18, 2019  Daylily Art & Garden Festival - Headland, Alabama
Headland's newest event is an expansion of one of it's oldest. The Daylily Art & Garden Festival is the third Saturday in May and features an art show inside the park of Headland’s beautiful downtown square with farmer’s market and garden-related vendors situated on the perimeter. Entertainment in the gazebo, children’s art and gardening activities and gardening demonstrations round out the day's activities. Local daylily growers offer garden tours nearby thoughout the day.
