Creative arts and livestock exhibits, carnival, music shows, "Farmer for a Day" for kids 10 and under, salute to Veterans, dog show and commercial exhibits.

September 7, 2024 - World Championship Squirrel Cook Off
Springdale, Arkansas
Our event is the finest wild game cook off, anywhere. We focus on the ability of the team to create a meal out of the other brown meat squirrel (limb chicken/Tree Bacon). The teams are made up of 2 or 3 individuals who will combine squirrel (80% of the total meat) along with whatever other ingredients to create an entrée along with a side item.  All of the squirrels are harvested using legal means and methods, teams shall provide their own meat, supplies and decoration. Special help can be given for meat supply if traveling across the country. Corporate sponsorship is available.

September 9-14, 2024 - White County Fair - Searcy, Arkansas
The White County Fair is one of the top ten county fairs in the Nation.  Goat, Cattle, Horse, Poultry, Sheep and Swine Shows.  Carnival, vendors, exhibits, live entertainment, etc. Since 1935.

September 16-21, 2024  87th Annual Columbia County Fair & Livestock Show - Magnolia, Arkansas
Columbia County Fairgrounds.

September 20-28, 2024  120th Annual Benton County Fair
Bentonville, Arkansas
Exhibits of livestock (Goat, Sheep, Swine, Beef, Rabbit), agronomy and horticulture.  Art exhibits, talent shows, carnival, commercial exhibitors. Livestock auctions, tractor pull, lawn mower pull, Live music. Benton County Fairgrounds & Expo Center.
 


 

September 20-28, 2024  Arkansas Oklahoma State Fair
Fort Smith, Arkansas
Begun in 1936 as the Fort Smith Livestock Exposition, the Arkansas-Oklahoma State Fair has grown into one of the premier events in the region. Livestock and Creative Arts competition. Carnival, Live Concerts, over 2,500 exhibitors, vendors and over 135,000 visitors during this nine day celebration.   Attendance: 135,000.

September 21, 2024  Annual Cane Hill Harvest Festival
Cane Hill, Arkansas
Enjoy live music, food, history, junk/arts & crafts, museum displays, quilt show, tractor show, children’s games, horseshoes, and a petting zoo. See how they make sorghum molasses, lye soap and hominy. Listen to stories about Cane Hill and watch as history unfolds before your eyes. Come watch, listen, relax and enjoy the lifestyle of yesterday.  Cane Hill Harvest Festival is held on the grounds of the historic Cane Hill College.

September 24-28, 2024  80th Annual SW Arkansas District Livestock Show & Rodeo - Hope, Arkansas
Rodeo, livestock show, plant show, arts & crafts, food preservation, horticulture, commercial exhibits, food, large carnival, queen contest and talent show.

September 28, 2024  32nd Homesteaders Day - Hardy, Arkansas
Wagon rides, live music and dancing, period dress contest, children’s games, terrapin races, etc.  Jelly Making; Spinning and Weaving; Corn Grinding; Mule Jumping; Cooking on a Wood Stove; Open Fire Cooking; Butter Churning; Soap Making; Working Forge; Shingle Splitting; Candle Dipping; Dutch Oven Cooking; Working Horses and Oxen; Traditional Music; Robbery and Shootout Reenactment; “Yarn” spinning.

September 30, 2017  3rd Annual Bryant's Buzzin' BBQ Bash
Bryant, Arkansas
This year, we are proud to introduce Bryant's Buzzin' BBQ Bash to our annual Fall Fest festivities! This is a Kansas City Barbeque Society-sanctioned event. There will be two competitions going on at this year's event: KCBS Competition and Backyard BBQ Competition. Cash prizes totaling a minimum of $7,500 are available.

September 15, 2015  Annual Arkansas Chefs Culinary Classic
Little Rock, Arkansas
Ready, Set, Cook and WIN.  The Arkansas Hospitality Association hosts an annual culinary competition to showcase Arkansas' Chefs.  Chefs may compete in four categories: Soup/Salad, Dessert, Entree, or Appetizer.  Each chef must provide a presentation plate, three judging plates, and 250 tastings of each entry for the culinary dinner.  Guests can purchase tickets to try the entries for $45 per person.  Wine and beer tasting, along with the after party, are included in that price.
