120 Slow Cooker Recipe Favorites

This comfort food is a great dish during the cold winter. The smell created while cooking is heavenly throughout the house. 'Bean Pot' can be served with a salad and warm cheese bread or corn bread for a complete meal.

Makes 4 to 6 servings
INGREDIENTS
• 1 (15-ounce) can butter beans, drained
• 1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans, drained
• 1 (15-ounce) can baked beans, with liquid
• 1/2 cup ketchup
• 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
• 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
• 1/3 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
• 1½ pounds ham, diced
• 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS
Combine all the ingredients except the cheese in a 5-quart slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours.
Serve in bowls topped with shredded cheddar cheese.
The recipe is easily doubled for a larger crowd.
