Makes 4 servings.
INGREDIENTS
1 pound ham steak, 1/2-inch thick
1 to 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 to 2 tablespoons honey
2 Washington peaches, peeled and sliced 1/2-inch thick
DIRECTIONS
Saute ham in butter until browned around edges; turn once or twice for even cooking.
Drizzle honey over ham and cook until bubbly and browned.
Remove ham to platter and keep warm.
Add peach slices to remaining browned honey and ham drippings; heat thoroughly.
Pour peach mixture over ham.
