May 4, 2024 Annual Garden City Brewfest Missoula, Montana This vibrant event takes place in downtown Missoula's Caras Park. More than 70 beers on tap, food and live music. May 11, 2024 MT Brewers Spring Rendezvous Bozeman, Montana Taste beer from the far reaches of the state along with your hometown favorites. Our festivals feature only beer made in Montana, from those long-established beer producers, to the really small start up breweries that aren’t yet distributing their goods beyond their walls. We are so proud to feature Montana’s finest beers and introduce you to the brewers who are at the epicenter of this creative and tasty venture. May 18-20, 2024 MSU Billings Wine & Food Festival - Billings, Montana The MSU Billings Foundation Wine & Food Festival is a collection of events celebrating Billings’ finest chefs and wine masters, combining unforgettable cooking with the perfect selections of wine from around the world. Whether it’s enjoying guest chef dinners, wine tasting parties, or our famous two-part wine and food event under the grand tent, there’s something for everyone. June 17-22, 2024 Great Falls Craft Beer Week - Great Falls, Montana Great Falls hosts its Annual Craft Beer Week a fun-filled week devoted to local craft beer. Events include obstacle course fun, craft 101 courses, food and beer pairing events, collaboration releases, and a pub tour. Festivities culminate with the MT Brew Fest at the Mansfield Convention Center.
June 21-22, 2024 34th Annual Lewis and Clark Festival Great Falls, Montana Highlights events of the Lewis & Clark expedition during their stay in Great Falls in 1805. You will observe reenactors in historic dress, taste the foods the Expedition ate, smell the burning campfires and understand the adventure along the banks of the Missouri River. Learn how the men worked and what they found. Join us in exploring the Lewis and Clark adventure. Live the experience, with many events planned for you. Events include demonstrations, children's activities, exhibits, float trips and more. July 4, 2024 4TH OF JULY - Nationwide There are so many events on this day that they are too numerous to list. Virtually every community in the U.S. has a 4th of July celebration. July 11-13, 2024 37th Annual Montana Governor's Cup Walleye Tournament - Fort Peck Lake, Montana Walleye fishing at its best can be found in Fort Peck Lake. Plus Montana Governor's Cup is now a member of Walleyes Unlimited Circuit. The Montana Governor's Walleye Tournament brings anglers, from 18 states, Canada and all over Montana, who are willing to pay $300 per team to try for the $15,000 first place prize. Cash and merchandise prizes are given to the top 20% of the 200 two person teams. This is also an event for the entire family with a Gals & Guys Tournament on Thursday morning and a Youth Fishing Festival on Saturday morning. Other events are a barbecue for the fisherman and families and a Fish Fry open to the Public. July 13, 2024 33rd Annual Strawberry Festival - Billings, Montana In the heart of our urban center, experience rich diversity in arts and crafts, fresh produce and strawberries, the scents of food-truck fare from Asian to BBQ, live street entertainment, and a 60' strawberry shortcake created by the Chefs and Cooks of Montana. With an interactive children’s area including free crafts and activities for all ages July 17-21, 2024 Big Sky Country State Fair - Bozeman, Montana Enjoy nationally recognized talent during the night shows. Don’t forget to check out our new Barnyard, where there will be a petting zoo, animal races, and agricultural education displays! With over a hundred years of tradition, the Bozeman Roundup Ranch Rodeo will be held on Saturday. Come back Sunday for the Barnyard Brawl: Muttom Bustin’, the calf scramble, and the chicken chase for the kiddos! The Fair will also feature several fun-filled and animal-packed activities in the Pardners Corral! July 26-August 3, 2024 Montana State Fair - Great Falls, Montana The Montana State Fair will be celebrating with another summer full of fun. Fabulous concert artists, food and tons of entertainment. The fair is going to be the coolest thing this summer, with fabulous fair food, midway rides, and competitive exhibits in 21 unique departments. Contests include the Montana Wheat & Barley-A-Thon baking competition, Ultimate Chocolate Montana-shaped cake contest, Healthy fruits & nuts fudge contest, Beef in the Kitchen, Great American Spam Championship, and the Veggie 500. July 27, 2024 Virginia City Brew Fest - Virginia City, Montana Noon til the Taps Run Dry -- Music Noon to 6 PM. July 27-28, 2024 Flathead Cherry Festival - Polson, Montana Cherry pit spitting and stem tying contests, recipe contest, pie sale, street dance, magic show and strolling bagpipers. Over 125 vendors will be selling their cherry related items as well as other merchandise. August 2-3, 2024 111th Annual Creamery Picnic - Stevensville, Montana This is a traditional celebration for Stevensville with a historic background. There is a parade, Montana State BBQ Championship, Microbrew Festival, food vendors, crafters, and booths of all descriptions. Incredible ice cream and a mobile dairy to show how we get milk products. Music, beer, great food and fun as well as live entertainment and a car show! Family oriented and takes place in the Lewis and Clark Park. August 2-4, 2024 47th Annual Sweet Pea Festival - Bozeman, Montana Every year hundreds of volunteers work together to put on a festival jam-packed with entertainment, art and family fun. Sweet Pea Festival highlights include: music of all genres, performances by local theatre and dance troupes, workshops, family-friendly entertainment and activities, a flower show, and over 100 unique arts and crafts vendors to stroll through. In addition, there are many fun-filled community events the week leading up to the Festival. August 3, 2024 Montana Brewers Summer Rendezvous Helena, Montana Coming to Helena will be the Montana Brewers and their favorite beers. They will join the hordes of craft beer lovers in Helena and from around the state. • ONLY Montana-made beer from our own Montana Brewers, details to come. • Commemorative tasting glass to sample all your favorite brews- no beer tickets, just sample all the beers you’d like, and please drink responsibly! • Food Vendors • Great live music. August 9-11, 2024 35th Annual Huckleberry Days Arts Festival & Bake-Off Contest - Whitefish, Montana Annual Huckleberry Days Arts Festival and Dessert Bake-Off. The Bake-off contest has two divisions (Commercial and Non-Commercial) and all entries must contain Huckleberries in some form (fresh, frozen, jam, syrup, etc.) Cash prizes & bragging rights will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners in each division. August 9-17, 2024 MontanaFair - Billings, Montana MontanaFair is an agricultural celebration in the historic tradition of fairs. It is the region’s largest event with attendance of nearly a quarter of a million each year. Held at MetraPark in Billings, MontanaFair celebrates for nine days beginning the second weekend in August. Nearly 10,000 people will earn cash and ribbons for their entries which range from beer, wine, bunnies, crocheting, horticulture, horses, cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, petit-point, pickles, to hobbies, and arts and crafts. Also Carnival, Entertainment, Kids Activities, etc. Attendance: 250,000. August 10-11, 2024 44th Annual Huckleberry Festival Trout Creek, Montana Trout Creek was proclaimed "Huckleberry Capitol of Montana" by the state's legislature in 1981. The Huckleberry Festival, put on by volunteers from our community, has grown through the years. People flock to taste and purchase the berries, sold on the park grounds to benefit the festival. Food vendors feature the tasty "purple gold" in huckleberry ice cream cones, "huckleberry pizza," on cheesecake, in drinks, and even atop Polish dogs. The Trout Creek Fire Department offers its Saturday and Sunday morning huckleberry pancake breakfasts, and both children and adults bake the tastiest recipes they know for the honor of competing in the Huckleberry Dessert Contest. 2023 MONTANA: May through August 2023 Food & Wine Festivals, Shows, Events events waiting for new datesMay 20, 2023 Fish Fest - Whitefish, Montana A celebration of all things Whitefish. Chat with brewers and cider masters from across the state while sampling their wares. Food from local vendors and live music by three unique Montana bands are also part of this benefit for Rural Dynamics, Inc., a local nonprofit that helps Montanans achieve financial security. June 22-23, 2018 - Western Heritage Days - Stevensville, Montana Calcutta auction of Barnyard game teams, reception, and a live auction. Chuck Wagons for the Cook-Off arrive and are set up by 4pm for judging. Later in the evening they will host a reception for all wagon sponsors with pickin’ and grinnin’ and lots of story tellin’ around the campfire.
