JULY 4, 2024 - 4TH OF JULY There are so many events on this day that they are too numerous to list. Virtually every community in the U.S. has a 4th of July celebration. July 19-27, 2024 North Dakota State Fair Minot, North Dakota The fair offers a wide variety of agricultural exhibits, great entertainment lineup, carnival, and much more. August 9, 2024 Best of the West Ribfest - Watford City, North Dakota Ribs & Fixings, Street Vendors, Live Music, Concessions, Kid Zone Fun & Games, Classic Car Show & Street Dance. August 9-10, 2024 North Dakota Chokecherry Festival Williston, North Dakota The North Dakota Chokecherry Festival is a celebration of youth accomplishments and our state fruit, the chokecherry! This two-day family festival kicks off on Friday and features the 1000 Burger Feed, ice cream with chokecherry topping, vendor booths and live entertainment. Saturday begins with a free pancake feed with chokecherry syrup, a 5k fun run, children's stroll/parade, vendors booths, live entertainment, Kid Zone, free swimming, train rides and dock dog jumping competition with Ultimate Air Dogs. A great family event to enjoy before getting back to school! August 15-18, 2024 Grant County Fair & 4-H Achievement Days Carson, North Dakota Livestock Show and sale, turtle races, youth rodeo, rodeo, pancake and sauage breakfast, pork barbecue, chili cook-off, parades, street dance, toilet bowl races, pine car derby, car and antique tractor show, 4-H Horse Show.
August 21-25, 2024 Ransom County Fair - Lisbon, North Dakota Open Class Livestock Judging, a Junior Livestock Point Show, Pedal Tractor Pull, Carnival, Bull-A-Rama, a Party in the Dirt Dance, Free Corn Feed, Parade. To enhance the cohesiveness of our community by promoting youth leadership, education, and social opportunities; preserving our agriculture heritage, unique culture, arts, and history; and providing a community resource that is safe, functional, and accessible to all the residents and visitors of Ransom County. August 23-25, 2024 Slope County Fair - Amidon, North Dakota North Dakota's longest, continuous running county fair. Annual ethnic festival, including concerts, dancing, Ukrainian meals, educational seminars, liturgy services, and more. Join the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce as they host the Rockin' Ribfest at Williston State College. Rib teams will be set up all day preparing ribs for a public tasting at 4pm. Throughout the day enjoy food from various vendors, craft vendors, kids activities, and entertainment. August 7, 2018 Banquet in a Field - Harwood, North Dakota CommonGround North Dakota is hosting its annual Banquet in a Field event to ignite conversations about North Dakota food and farming among the people of Cass County and Fargo community. Located at Peterson Farms Seed, near Harwood, N.D., Banquet in a Field is to create open dialogue between women who grow food and the women who buy it. The dinner, featuring 11 crops and three meats all from North Dakota farms, will educate guests of the contribution local agriculture has on the state and give attendees the chance to connect with CommonGround volunteers, the women who work to bring clarity to discussions about food and farming. August 18, 2018 Wild West Grill Fest - Mandan, North Dakota Dykshoorn Park. Area Restaurants will be grilling their specialties. Grillers will be open from 11 am - 11 pm Saturday. Scott Prebys & Special Friends take the stage from Noon - 2 pm nad from 3:30 - 5:30.The beer garden opens at Noon. Admission is $5.00. Children 12 and under are welcome free of charge. No pets or coolers allowed, you may bring your own lawn chairs. Wild West Vendor Showdown will feature more than 30 art, craft and business vendors. Register for door prizes and a Grill give away!!! |
