Fix-it And Enjoy-it Cookbook

Makes 8-10 servings
Prep Time: 13-20 minutes
Baking Time: 1 hour
Ingredients
• 6 large potatoes, thickly sliced
• 4 to 6 medium-sized onions, thinly sliced
• 1/4-1/2 cup butter
• 1 large garlic clove, minced
• 1/4 tsp. pepper
• 1/4 tsp. celery seed
• paprika
Directions
1. Cover bottom of a greased 9 x 13 glass baking dish with half the potato slices. Top with half the onion slices. Create a second layer of potatoes followed by a second layer of onion slices.
2. Melt butter in a small saucepan. Stir in garlic, pepper, and celery seed. Pour over potatoes and onions.
3. Bake at 400° for 40 minutes, covered with foil.
4. Remove from oven and sprinkle with paprika.
5. Bake for an additional 20 minutes, uncovered.
