Annual Chitlin' Strut
Salley, South Carolina
CANCELLED FOR 2024, WILL RETURN IN 2025.  This internationally known festival in the quiet, Southern town of Salley, South Carolina (population 398) is held annually the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Visitors converge on Salley to celebrate one of the more unusual food items available, chitterlings. Quite simply, chitterlings (or chitlin's) are fried pig intestines and have been a Southern tradition for over one-hundred years.   Attendance: 25,000.

November 2, 2024 - Summerton Duckfest
Clarendon County, South Carolina
Family-friendly event that promotes Summerton as the “Duck Capital of South Carolina'.' Play in the cornhole tournament, watch the Main Street parade, try tasty delights from the cook-off, and much more.

November 2, 2024  John's Island Harvest Fest
John's Island, South Carolina
Long ago, agricultural families in the Colonial Southeast and across America gathered every fall to give thanks and celebrate a bountiful Harvest season with a day of feasting, games, music and fun. To keep this spirited tradition alive, join us at the annual Harvest Festival at Johns Island County Park.

Run Like A Nut races, half-marathon & fun walk, cook-off, antique Tractor Show, car show, entertainment, kids' fun zone, vendors, arts & crafts and much more.  Attendance: 50,000.

Pelion , South Carolina
We have something for everyone - Arts & Crafts, Food, Parade, Exhibitors, Book Sale,  Peanut Butter Sandwich Eating Contest, and, of course, Boiled Peanuts! Be sure to visit our “Peanuts Your Way!” tent for old-fashioned peanut candies, flavored dry-roasted peanuts and handmade peanut art.

November 9, 2024  4th Annual Holy Smokes Lowcountry Barbecue Festival - North Charleston, South Carolina
All-you-can-eat access to four barbecue villages, including the newly-added Coastal Village. This village will highlight all things seafood, and the village’s pit masters will add smoke and fire to some Lowcountry dishes.

Heritage Fire is a three-hour live-fire event focused on education and delivering moments of culinary awakening. Taking place in 14 cities, the walk-around reception features an all-inclusive bacchanal feast paired with thoughtful bites prepared by some of the most critically acclaimed kitchens in each market, with products from locally sourced farms and sponsors. The festivities includes fun and interactive activations, as well as the crowning of your city’s Heritage Hero.

Society Hill, South Carolina
This delightful festival honors a true southern delicacy, Catfish! Join us for the parade, games, and entertainment, auto, truck and motorcycle show, and 5K run/walk (with prizes). Craft and food vendors, including fried catfish.  Attendance: 17,000.
