Grape stomping competitions for both kids and adults will be held at approximately 1:00, 3:00, and 5:00 each day. A drawing will be held to determine who will compete in the competitions…please enter your name in the drawing when you arrive. Day Block Brewing will be hosting PorktoberFest, an end-of-summer block party at their property located off Washington Avenue and 11th Avenue in the Downtown Minneapolis Mill District. The all-day event will emphasize local food-namely pork selections-as well as several vegetarian options. In addition, there will be plenty of craft beer and a full schedule of live music, which will begin at 2:00pm. This event will be held in the shared Day Block Brewing/Grumpy’s Bar lot located on the South side of the Day Block Building. Limited free parking will also be available. Food selections include Pork Beer Brats & Sauerkraut, Pork Shank “Wings”, Korean Pork Belly Sliders, Bacon Steak “BLT” Sandwiches & Carolina BBQ Pork Chops on a Stick. For vegetarians, we'll also have Portabella Cap Sandwiches, Giant Pretzels & Beer Cheese, Giant Pickle on a Stick, Corn on the Cob w/ Compound Butter &Seasonal Grilled Vegetable Hash.
