August 1-3, 2024
29th Annual Clam Festival
Highlands, New Jersey
The famous Clam Festival is a four-day spectacular event featuring a 120’ seafood court serving the freshest food from many of Highlands’ famous restaurants. Admission and parking is free, and the event takes place rain or shine.  Live entertainment.  Huddy Park, Highlands, NJ.

August 2-10, 2024  New Jersey State Fair/Sussex County Farm and Horse Show - Augusta, New Jersey
Showcasing New Jersey's agriculture, the fair takes place at the Sussex County Fairgrounds. The schedule includes a farm and horse show as well as food, music, arts, and cultural events.

August 3, 2024  24th Annual Butterfly Festival - Pennington, New Jersey
Held at the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on our 930-acre Watershed Reserve in Hopewell Township, NJ  This family-oriented day has grown to be a major regional event, attracting more than 3,000 visitors. The day will feature new and exciting ways in which the Watershed is fulfilling its mission to protect the environment and clean water. We invite you to join us in modeling ways to participate in the process of keeping our earth green and provide examples of planet-friendly choices to help support greener-living. We will feature local food,crafts and products and feature exhibitors and contributors with many types of art, crafts,photography, sculpture, etc.  There will be activities and workshops, art and entertainment. The popular Butterfly Parade and tours of the Butterfly House. Insect Zoo and live Music!  Attendance: 3,000.

August 4, 2024 - Latin Festival: Tacos & Tequila
Monmouth Park, Oceanport, New Jersey
It’s a Cinco de Mayo celebration in the middle of summer! Join us Sunday, August 6 for our Latin Festival: Tacos & Tequila. Featuring delicious authentic food, margaritas, live music and more!
 


 

August 10, 2024  NOFA FesTomato - Asbury, New Jersey
Northeast Organic Farming Association. An afternoon of tomato-lovin’ fun at Ironbound Farm. This event is FREE and open to the public.  All day tomato tasting (50+ Varieties!) Sourced from local NJ farms, sample varieties of cherry, plum, heirloom, and classic red Jersey tomatoes to find your favorite!  Live Music All Day. Garden Consultation with the Organic Garden Doctor.  Vendor Marketplace featuring local farms and partner organizations.

August 17-18, 2024  Surf & Turf Seafood Festival
Monmouth Park, Oceanport, New Jersey
The Shore’s biggest seafood festival returns this year for two days of freshest seafood!  Enjoy lobster rolls, crab cakes, shrimp and so much more. Over a dozen of the Shore’s best seafood establishments will offer their mouth-watering menus for a weekend festival you can’t afford to miss.  General admission is just $6 and parking is FREE.

August 19-24, 2024  Cumberland County Fair - Millville, New Jersey
The Cumberland County Fair is the oldest running county fair in the state that features five days and nights of old fashion, family fun. Fair goers will enjoy amusement rides, games, Demolition Derby in the Grandstand. Little Miss & Mister Pageant, Rolling Entertainment, Pie Eating contest, DJ “Crazy Bob” Livestock Exhibits, Craft Fair, Home Show & give a-ways, BBQ Platters, Face Painter, Livestock Exhibits & 4-H Activities, Kid’s Free Craft Making, Festival of Food Concessions, Ice Cream, Cotton Candy, Candy Apples, and fresh squeezed lemonade. August 10, 2019 - Corn, Tomato and Beer Festival
Flemington, New Jersey
In the corn and tomato capital of the USA! The festival takes place on Stangl Road, Flemington NJ from noon-8pm. For foodie and beer-lovers, this family-friendly event will feature an expansive micro-brewery beer garden, live music, great food from local restaurants, and family entertainment. This is a free event!

August 25, 2019  Farm-to-Fork Dinner - Milford, New Jersey
Alba Vineyard.  A cocktail hour and eight-course wine-pairing dinner will be presented by eight of New Jersey’s most reputable chefs, featuring locally produced food from farms throughout northern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.  Each course will be paired with one of Alba's estate wines beginning with gourmet passed hors d’oeuvres al fresco, a VIP vineyard tour, and elegant dining overlooking the stunning grounds under a tent.  Seating is Limited ~ $150.00 Per Person.

August 28, 2019  Great Tomato Tasting and Snyder Farm Open House

Join us for the tasting up to 100 varieties of beefsteak, plum, cherry, and grape tomatoes, fruit, basil and more. Also wagon tours of the farm's plots, educational displays, & demonstration gardens. This event is made possible with the assistance of the Rutgers Master Gardener volunteers.

August 12-13, 2017  'Truck' erton Food Truck & Brew Fest
Tuckerton, New Jersey
Tuckerton Seaport has added a brand new event to our summer line-up. Join us as Tuckerton become “Truck”erton with 20 food trucks rolling in to serve up food and fun. From 11am to 7pm, the Seaport will have live entertainment and programs perfect for the whole family.

August 12-13, 2017  Seafood Festival - Landisville, New Jersey
Bellview Winery annual Seafood Festival! We will have a wide selection of seafood delights from some of the best gourmet seafood producers in the area. Wine tasting and Sangria will be available outside with chilled bottles inside for purchase. To the Maxx will be playing live throughout the day to get your sea legs dancing. Tickets to the event are $15.  Don’t forget to check out the presale specials starting on July 17th! Children and leashed pets are welcome, and we do allow outside food. Outside alcohol is prohibited. Don’t forget to bring your chairs and blankets! Pop up tents are permitted in designated areas on a first come first served basis.

August 26, 2017  Peach & Butterfly Festival - Little Silver, New Jersey
Sickles Market, Little Silver, will hold its annual Peach and Butterfly Celebration from Noon – 3 p.m. The celebration’s mission is to create awareness about the very special, delicious New Jersey peach, its many varieties, preparations made with fresh peaches and products made from peaches such as preserves, jams and baked goods. Several activities are scheduled including the highly anticipated Painted Lady butterfly release.  • Live Entertainment • Everything Peaches Tastings & Demos  - baked goods, jams, jellies and preserves, grilled peaches with pork, peach soup and New Jersey peach varieties 1-3 p.m.  • Kids’ Peach Pie Eating Contest 1 p.m.  • Butterfly Release: 1:45 p.m.  ALL EVENTS ARE FREE.

Vineland, New Jersey
Celebrate New Jersey's agricultural heritage at this free event featuring continuous live entertainment, a variety of delicious foods, crafters, kids activities, exhibits, special guests, and a live produce auction.  Free parking, bring your lawn chairs.  12pm to 6pm.

August 20-21, 2016  Late Summer Laurita Food Trucks!
New Egypt, New Jersey
Food and wine lovers will converge at the Laurita Winery in New Egypt for a Laurita Winery Gourmet Food Trucks and Fire Works weekend. Experience the trending Gourmet Food Truck offerings while sipping on wine and enjoying a seat to watch the Fire Works! Live music and good friends will make this day special!
