The Great New York State Food & Wine Festival - Clayton, New York
An event celebrating quality "Made in New York" food & wine products including candy and cheeses, nuts, sauces, herbs & spices, maple syrup and other maple products, apple cider, cookies and ice cream and of course, NYS wines.

June 7-9, 2024  Annual Strawberry Festival - Forestville, New York
A celebration of the area”s strawberry harvest. Fresh strawberry shortcake, chocolate dipped strawberries & Festival wine. Food, wine, draft beer and Merritt's Sangria Wine Slush. Free wine tours & tastings. Classic car cruise, live music, craft vendors, dancing. Hosted by Merrit Estate Winery, each year working with a different non-profit organization to raise money for its cause.

June 8, 2024  12th Annual Rochester Real Beer Expo
Rochester, New York
Bigger and better than ever before!  6:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a pre-event VIP/Preview hour at 5:00 PM. The event will be held on the concourse at Innovative Field, home of the Rochester Red Wings! The festival is moving from Gregory Street to the baseball stadium concourse to allow for expanded brewery offerings and to provide covered areas in case of inclement weather. There is also ample seating and on-site parking. We’ll also be offering a free shuttle bus from the Wedge to the venue. Attendees can also enjoy ballpark concessions. The venue also offers more amenities, including restrooms!
 


 

June 8, 2024  Hudson Valley Taco Fest - Newburgh, New York
Come enjoy a day all about gourmet tacos such as steak, chicken, beef, fish, shrimp, and vegan tacos to purchase. Wash them down with some refreshing Sweet Sangrias and Fine Brew also for purchase. Enjoy some great Mariachi music and the sounds from local bands. Watch the Taco Takedown eating Championships. Be an Official Taco Tasting Judge and Vote for your favorite taco place! Plus check out our vendor shopping experience while hanging out at Riverfront Park.

June 9, 2024  Beacon Sloop Club Strawberry Festival - Beacon, New York

June 12-16, 2024  69th Annual Mattituck Strawberry Festival
Mattituck, New York
The festival has music, carnival, raffle, coloring contest display, fresh local strawberries, arts and crafts, international food court, vendors, games, and much more.  By late June on the North Fork the strawberry crop is reaching its peak and bursting with flavor. On Father's Day weekend, at the peak of the strawberry harvest, the Mattituck Lions Club brings the community together for a special weekend of fun and purpose. Whether you're here year-round, are a seasonal resident or are drawn here by the Festival, you're in for a wonderful time – all while raising money for local non-profits!

June 13-15, 2024  42nd Annual Owego Strawberry Festival
Owego, New York
Food, entertainment, contests, wine tent, and 20,000 people enjoying the day. Friday night includes entertainment, food and fireworks.  Held on the closed streets of downtown Owego, NY.  Lots of excitement is planned for this year's Festival! The usual attractions like "Straw Dawgs Strut Their Stuff" Contest, Children's Bounce House, a zillion runners at the 5K Race and Kids' 1 Mile Run , a Miss/Mrs. Strawberry Pageant, Wine/Beer/Spirit Tasting, Rubber Ducky Derby, lots of great entertainment and a few surprises.  And, of course, YOU!   There will be plenty of great food and a fantastic array of arts and crafts.  Over 200 vendors and artisans will line the streets downtown.   Attendance: 20,000.

June 15-16, 2024  3rd Annual Capital Strawberry and Wine Festival
Saratoga Springs, New York
Music, both Saturday & Sunday, Craft and Specialty Food booths, and booths selling strawberries and treats.  The Tasting Tent will feature NY State wines, spirits, and cider.  We will have food trucks and vendors serving lobster rolls, chicken wraps, fried pickles, wood fired pizza, tacos, sausage sandwiches, steak sandwiches, and more!

June 29-30, 2024  Adirondack Wine and Food Festival
Lake George, New York
Take your taste buds on an unforgettable journey as you are introduced to over 100 of New York's best wineries, craft beverage makers, artisan food vendors, food trucks and more, with the beauty of Lake George as your backdrop!   The Festival will showcase some of the best wineries, breweries, distilleries, artisan food vendors, crafts and food trucks the region has to offer! Culinary & cocktail demonstrations will also be taking place all weekend long on the festival grounds!  A family-friendly event! All ages are welcome and there will be plenty of exciting children’s entertainment provided!  Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks once again joins us as our Official Festival Beneficiary! Their volunteers will be on hand making sure the festival runs smoothly, including roaming the space with ample bottles of water to keep everyone hydrated.

Varick Winery.  Enjoy cherry picking, wine tasting, sweet treats, food, apple chuckin', arts & crafts vendors, hayrides, music, children's games and fun for the whole family.  Rain or shine. Free admission.

Over 50 LOCAL Chocolate Vendors, plus an additional 50 vendors with delicious food and crafts. Live Music and Entertainment. Chocolate Donut Eating Contest. Fun for everyone. Indoors and air conditioned. Free, onsite parking.  Cost: Until June 7 at 8pm adults $12.50 |  kids 4-12/seniors 62 & over/military/firefighters/EMTs $10. After June 7/at the door: adults $15 |  kids/seniors/military/firefighters/E MTs $12.

Annual Big Apple Barbecue Block Party
New York, New York
EVENT CANCELLED FOR 2019.  The Big Apple Barbecue Block Party will not be held this summer. The organizers are continuing to search for a new location and are leaving open the possibility for an event to happen in the fall. Then, if it does not happen in the fall, they are hoping to lock down a venue for a large 2020 event.  Attendance: 130,000.

June 1, 2018 - Rice Bread Class - New York, New York
For this class, Nobuko will show you how to make delicious gluten-free rice bread from scratch. Bread made from rice has a fluffy, chewy, and soft texture that is loved in Japan.  This bread is made with unprocessed ingredients and can be elevated by adding other whole grains and superfoods to make the bread even more nutritious.  Participants will be introduced vegan chinese buns, whole grain sandwich bread and whole grain vegan pizza.

June 16, 2018  Bounty of the Hudson Wine & Food Festival
New Paltz, New York
NEXT EVENT IN 2020.  The Annual Bounty of the Hudson, this year held at Ulster County Fairgrounds in New Paltz, New York.  This event brings the bounty of the Hudson Valley region to one convenient location, with live entertainment, farm fresh produce, local artisan cheeses, specialty products and a collection of award-winning wines produced in the Hudson Valley.

June 28, 2018  Brooklyn Eats - Brooklyn, New York
Brooklyn Eats is Brooklyn’s first and largest food and beverage trade show, taking place this year At Bklyn Studios at City Point. Last year’s Brooklyn Eats hosted over 100 exhibitors, welcomed 2,000 guests and showcased the cool that’s cooking in Brooklyn.  The show is aimed at local and regional buyers/distributors, restaurateurs and consumers with the aim of increasing visibility and sales of the variety of high quality foods and beverages that are made in Brooklyn; from artisanal chocolates to zesty pickles- we make it all right here!  Brooklyn Eats is free to the trade and open to the public for a $10 fee.

Greenpoint, Brooklyn, New York
The first of its kind in the New York City area, this “all things coffee and tea” festival will be served on ice! Think iced tea, iced coffee, cold brewing, ready-to-drink, tea/coffee infused frozen products, and more!  Join exhibitors as they pour tastings of their finest iced beverages and introduce you to new and award-winning products! This fun-filled unofficial summer kick-off event will celebrate all things coffee and tea and offer “chilly” seminars, tastings, and more! The expo center will also feature some of the most delectable sweet and savory foods from some of NYC’s finest food vendors to compliment the spectacular collection of iced drinks. Bring your family, bring your friends – make it an inexpensive and thirst-quenching day out!  Get your ticket(s) today to saunter the festival tasting all the iced coffee and iced tea to your heart’s delight in celebration of National Iced Tea Day on June 10! Come for an hour or stay the whole day – drink, eat, learn.  The event will take place indoors. Tickets are $20 per person and include admission to the event, a souvenir tasting cup, freedom to attend festival seminars, and enjoy tastings from various exhibitors. Children 12 and under are admitted into the event for free but require a ticket that can be obtained for free on the ticketing page. If not sold-out, tickets will be available at the door for $25.

June 3-20, 2015  The Economy of Food - Bronx, New York
The Bronx River Art Center (BRAC).  At BRAC's temporary gallery space at 305 East 140th St. Bronx, N.Y.  This is the third of an extensive two-year production of ten exhibitions that will run through 2016, collectively called Food Systems, Surroundings & Sensibilities.  The Economy of Food analyzes the economics of the food system, the complex operation sustaining our lives, from farm or factory to our kitchen table. The exhibition addresses the economies of food production, trade and food distribution, food consumption, and recycling the system's aftermath. Artists participating in the exhibition are responding to this universal issue with installations, photography, performance and video works, raising questions on issues such as corporate vs. sustainable farming, undocumented immigrants and child labor in food production, local food distribution in the Bronx, the new geopolitics of food, multinational food culture, commercial and creative recycling of food waste and packaging, and attempts to balance low budgets while providing nutrition and feeding our families in "the hungriest borough in NYC".

June 10 - July 1, 2015 Grand Central Oyster Bar's Herring Festival
New York, New York
The Dutch Herring are back! Herring lovers will enjoy the season for less than a month. The Herring is flown in air expressed Grand Central Oyster Bar from Scheveningen, The Netherlands, on the North Sea where the herring fleet makes its home. Not only will the Oyster Bar receive the very first herring shipped to the USA, but the cream of the catch, as well.

June 20-21, 2015  Crossborder Blues, Brews & Que - Wilson, New York
Bringing together three of America's favorite crafts at one amazing venue, the lakefront community of Wilson NY. Blues competition features bands that put the soul into blues, commercial brews go head to head to take home the Big Daddy Brew trophy, and both professional and backyard BBQ cooks pit their skills against other barbeque chefs.

June 22-28, 2015  Sustainable Seafood Week NYC - New York, New York
SSWNYC is a culinary-fueled celebration showcasing the efforts of local fishermen, chefs, organizations and communities to promote responsible sourcing of seafood.  We have worked with many amazing partners to produce a week's worth of unique event collaborations to bring everyone one step closer to the sea -- spanning parties, tastings, dinners, workshops. Along with ticketed events open to the public, we'll be expanding on last year's industry panel to include even more programming geared towards anyone that's a stakeholder in the sustainable seafood discussion, including restaurant professionals, seafood purveyors, and scientists.
