After years of making this delicious sauce, I haven't found anything that this sauce doesn't taste great on.

Yield: 3 cups.
Prep/Total Time: 30 min.
Ingredients
~ 1 can (12 ounces) tomato paste
~ 1 cup ground pecans
~ 3/4 cup water
~ 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
~ 1/4 cup cider vinegar
~ 1/4 cup chopped onion
~ 1/4 cup honey
~ 2 tablespoons lemon juice
~ 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
~ 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
~ 2 garlic cloves, minced
Directions
In a large saucepan, combine all the ingredients.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Cool.
Store in the refrigerator.
Nutrition Facts:
2 tablespoons equals 59 calories, 2 g fat (trace saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 83 mg sodium, 10 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 1 g protein.
