November 12-Dec 19, 2024 Downtown in December Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Downtown in December presented by Devon, is a series of holiday events and attractions in the heart of Oklahoma City. It’s a one-of-a-kind winter experience that features thrilling outdoor ice skating, snow tube rides down a 150-foot slope, afternoon visits with Santa Claus, a festive 5K and fun run, free water taxi excursions, and a 2-day winter market, all surrounded by twinkling holiday lights. Most events are free of charge and there is an open invitation for all to attend. November 28, 2024 - THANKSGIVING DAY There are so many events today they are to numerous to list. November 29-January 4, 2025, 2024 Winterfest - Tulsa, Oklahoma Arvest Winterfest is happy to announce its return to Downtown Tulsa! The seasonal celebration is open to the public for 44 days this year, giving everyone a chance to enjoy skating beneath Tulsa's skyline. Come lace up your skates and take in what has become one of Tulsa's favorite holiday traditions! Attendance: 150,000. December 7, 2024 34th Annual Minco Honey Festival - Minco, Oklahoma Pure, sweet Oklahoma honey from the largest honey producing facility in the state. Tours of the Ross Honey Plant will be given throughout the day, and an impressive array of honey products and gifts will be available for purchase. This year's festival will also feature the popular and much-anticipated honey bake-off. Free samples will be available to the public. Known by locals as the land of milk and honey, Minco dairy producers will also have free samples of cheese and milk products. Come to the Minco Honey Festival and you are guaranteed to notice the aroma of food throughout the town supplied from local restaurants and food vendors. The Minco Honey Festival will also include over 100 crafters, a quilt show, a kids' tractor pull and booths filled with Made in Oklahoma products.
December 12-14, 2024 31st Tulsa Farm Show - Tulsa, Oklahoma As Oklahoma’s largest indoor farm show with over 400,000 square feet of exhibits, the TULSA Farm Show is a great end-of-year opportunity to view all the latest in agricultural and ranching equipment. Over 350 companies will be featuring a full line of displays, including tractor, sprayer, tillage, harvest equipment, cattle management products, and more. December 31, 2024 Price Tower Olive Drop - Bartlesville, Oklahoma The Price Tower Arts Center invites you to ring in the New Year the "Wright" way and attend their annual Olive Drop. This exciting New Year's Eve tradition features the lowering of a huge olive down the side of Frank Lloyd Wright's Price Tower into a big martini glass at midnight. Watch the festivities from the heart of downtown Bartlesville on the ground level of the arts center. There will also be live music by local performers, party favors, hors d'oeuvres and more. Make your way downtown and spend the day sampling different kinds of delicious chili and vote for your favorite to help it win the People's Choice award. There will also be a salsa competition and youth are welcome to participate as well. Food is also available from food trucks that will be on site. While you check out all that this fun festival has to offer, local musicians will provide entertainment throughout the day. |
