Food Northwest Process & Packaging Expo

Oregon Convention Center.  The largest regional food processing show.  Expanded educational offerings with a focus on best practices and continuous improvement will encompass technical, energy, sustainability, environmental, and policy issues.  Attendees include every sector of the food industry including fresh, dry, packaged, canned, frozen, beverage, dairy, bakery, fish, seafood, meat, produce and specialty, as well as suppliers that support the industry.  The 120,000 square foot exhibit hall showcases cutting-edge technology, production line equipment, packaging, hygiene, and construction services. 

April 12-13, 2024  The 71st Annual Pear Blossom Festival
Medford, Oregon
2024 Theme: "The Perfect 'Pear'ing of Communities".  Featuring locally produced wines and brews, along with local artisan foods. Other activities include the Pear Blossom Run, with over 4,000 participants and the Pear Blossom Parade.   Attendance: 30,000.

April 19-21, 2024  43rd Annual Northwest Cherry Festival
The Dalles, Oregon
A longtime favorite among locals and visitors alike, the festival is set in the spectacular Columbia River Gorge and showcases The Dalles’ deep agricultural heritage and Western roots. The Best Ever Cherry Festival in 2015 expanded to three days of family-friendly activities and events, and this year is going to be even better!  The fun begins with a Dance Party on Friday at 7pm, and continues with the Gorge’s biggest parade, classic car and tractor shows, a 10k race, and lots of great local music and bands. There’s also cherry sampling with the Oregon Cherry Growers, pony rides, and Davis Show’s Carnival. Be sure to see the Festival culminate with the crowning of Festival King Bing and Queen Anne!

This family-friendly festival celebrates Hood River Valley's booming hard cider scene, giving seasoned and novice cider drinkers alike the chance to sample cider from the area's very own cider makers, as well as a variety of additional Northwest cideries. More than 25 cideries will be participating, with more than 50 ciders on tap.

April 28, 2024  The Good Food Awards - Potland, Oregon
The 2024 Good Food Awards will celebrate food and drink crafters from all over the country. Each of the Winners rose to the top in a blind tasting of nearly 2,000 entries, while also demonstrating a deep commitment to sustainable environmental and social practices in their farming, sourcing and crafting. Following the Awards Ceremony, guests will be able to taste the winning food and drink in five regional buffets and composed bites at a jubilant and delicious after party.

April 30, 2016 - Lincoln City Fish Taco Cook-off - Lincoln City, Oregon
Chefs from throughout Oregon will compete to take home the people's choice title: Best Jambalaya. You get to be the judge. There is also a live cooking competition for best Cajun/Creole signature dish. Chef's will compete head to head on our demonstration stage.  The live competition will be judged by three professional culinary judges on taste, authenticity, creativity, technique, appearance, consistency and overall presentation.
