July 4-6, 2024 Portland Craft Beer Festival Portland, Oregon We’re looking forward to a fabulous festival this year filled with delicious local beers, wine, cider, and more! Plan to attend our big outdoor party at the Fields Neighborhood Park to find the broadest selection of local beers, ciders and wine, originating from Portland, Oregon breweries. Only beers, plus ciders and wine, crafted within the city limits of Portland are featured at the PCBF which makes it unique and different from other beer festivals. PCBF is held annually the first weekend in July. July 13, 2024 Saint Benedict Festival - St. Benedict, Oregon Held at Mount Angel Abbey. This summer, we invite you to make a pilgrimage to Mount Angel Abbey and experience the Saint Benedict Festival with our Benedictine monastic community. Each year at the festival, we monks open our home and hearts to all of our guests.What better way to grow in faith and fellowship than to spend an afternoon with friends at the Abbey, seeking “the things that are above”? Some highlights for this year’s festival include: • A picnic lunch highlighting cuisine you may experience on SBF to Rome, Spain, Jerusalem or Mexico • Benedictine Brewery beers and Willamette Valley wines • A special exhibit of Br. Claude Lane’s iconography • Monks telling their vocation stories along the “pilgrimage of life” • Abbot Jeremy speaking about Benedictine life and spirituality • Games of lawn jenga, bocce ball or cornhole played with the Abbey’s junior monks. July 24-27, 2024 Hood River County Fair - Odell, Oregon Up in the Garden, Down on the Farm. July 26-28, 2024 Annual International Pinot Noir Celebration McMinnville, Oregon The IPNC is a 3 day event, famous around the globe, as a mecca for lovers of Pinot noir and northwest cuisine. During the weekend, world-renowned winemakers, northwest chefs, esteemed media, epicures and wine lovers will gather in McMinnville, Oregon, exploring Pinot noir, savoring unforgettable meals, and learning and celebrating with luminaries of the food and wine world.
2017 Oregon - july 2017 Food & Wine Festivals, Shows, Events events waiting for new datesJuly 15-16, 2017 - Annual Hood River County Cherry Celebration Hood River, Oregon It's the time of year when businesses throughout the Hood River Fruit Loop share the bounty of the Hood River Valley; starting with the annual Cherry Celebration. Cherry celebration is an adventure for the family, with activities for everyone. Farms offer many varieties of fresh-picked and u-pick cherries, wines, lavender, jams and other cherry treats. Many farms feature picnic areas. In addition to the orchard-fresh fruit available all along the Loop, some Fruit Loop farms serve up special activities or attractions for Cherry Days. Admission to most Fruit Loop farms and attractions is free, and most are open from at least 10am to 5pm. The Hood River County Fruit Loop is 35 miles of orchards, forests, farmlands, and friendly communities. Along the Loop are 31 visitor-friendly businesses that include farmstands, wineries, alpaca farms, a chestnut farm, lavender fields, and gift stores. |
