Annual Washington Crossing Brewfest
Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania
Held at Washington Crossing Historic Park, the site where George Washington and his troops crossed the Delaware River on Christmas night in 1776. Brewfest will offer beer tasting, music, and food and will benefit this historic landmark.

May 4-5, 2024 - Strawberry Festival - Lahaska, Pennsylvania
The weekend will include strawberry-themed food, beverages, live music, food trucks, kids’ activities, and shop specials. Peddler’s Village shops will be open until 8 p.m. on Saturday. Admission and parking are free. Rain or shine.  May will be Strawberry Month at Peddler’s Village.

May 5, 2024  Sly Fox Bock Fest & Goat Race - Pottstown, Pennsylvania
Held on the first Sunday of May every year, the event has become one of the Philadelphia area's favorite beer-focused celebrations. A German menu complements one of the largest offerings of bock beers in the US. The running of the ruminants finishes near the festival area.

May 11, 2024  Dillsburg PickleFest - Dillsburg, Pennsylvania
PickleFest activities include a Street Fair featuring a variety of Arts and Crafts vendors along with businesses, local organizations and food vendors. The Pickle Chase 5K that benefits Miranda's Smile begins at 9:00 am (registration at Maple Shade Barn starting at 7:00 am), followed by the 1 Mile Fun Run for the kids. Various Entertainment throughout the day with a special performance by Buck ‘n Chet. Pickle Eating contest. British and Foreign Car & Bike Show. Displays and Demonstrations by the Art Center. Pickle Soup. Mr. & Mrs. Pickle. Quilt Show. Bounce house and children’s activities. Plus a whole lot more.
 


 

May 11, 2024  Taste of Pennsylvania - York, Pennsylvania
York Memorial Park Complex.  Try Over 120 Pennsylvania Wines.  It's all about trying and finding that glass of wine that is juuuust right. Try as much or as little as you want. You can also just buy a bottle and sit on the grass.  If wine isn't your thing, join us for Brew Kids on the Block, a tour of PA's 20 or so newest breweries.  Let your friends buy you a Designated Driver pass and proudly sip on your free water and sodas all day!  Most of all...Relax with a bottle of wine on the grass and enjoy live music on our main stage provided by local artists.

May 18, 2024  Montrose Wine Walk - Montrose, Pennsylvania
Rain or shine, from 1 pm-5 pm. Those with general admission tickets will get a tasting glass, tasting tickets, and wrist band. VIP guests will enjoy an advance entrance from 11 am-1 pm, 6 additional tasting tickets, and an insulated wine tumbler.

May 18-19, 2024  South 9th Street Italian Market Festival
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

May 25-26, 2024  Annual FlavorFest at Mount Hope
Mount Hope, Pennsylvania
FlavorFest takes place on Memorial Day Weekend, from 11:00AM until 5:00PM. This festival provides a showcase of Pennsylvania's diverse culinary, wine offerings and the finest in PA artisan crafts and is sure to be a weekend of fun and delicious entertainment for the whole family that signals the beginning of summer. Enjoy cooking demos with regional chefs, culinary workshops, wine sampling and sales, a mix of musical entertainment, a special children's section, hand-crafted wares by local artisans and much more! Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Over the last decade, the Pittsburgh Wine Festival has grown from a highly specialized event into one that welcomes guests with all levels of wine experience. Whether you are a novice wine drinker who is looking to expand your palate with hundreds of wineries to sample, or you are a serious collector looking to try, buy and cellar the best of this year’s releases, our Festival is the only place to get it all.  The event will feature over 165 vendors serving over 500 different wines, so some experienced attendees will come with a strategy. May 6-7, 2016  8th Annual 'Smoke in the Valley' BBQ Competition
Green Lane, Pennsylvania
The Green Lane Volunteer Fire Company is once again holding the Smoke in the Valley BBQ Cook-off Competition. Smoke in the Valley is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society. Over 50 teams from the U.S. and Canada will compete in this years event for various prize monies, judging will be Saturday afternoon.  There will be live music Friday night and Saturday. There will also be food vendors along with a wide variety of Crafters/Artisans and games for the kids. Open to the public no admission fee.

May 8, 2016 - Farm-To-Table Dinner Series - Orrtanna, Pennsylvania
Beech Springs Farm will be kicking off their 2016 Farm-to-Table dinner series on May 8 with two special dining experiences for Mom.  Join us and celebrate Mother’s Day for a Celebratory Brunch from 11:00-2:00 pm or a Savory Spring Supper and the smooth jazz sounds of Tom Colgan from 5 to 8 pm.  Enjoy an unmatched experience as you dine in the farm's historic 1867 barn, stroll the gardens and enjoy the beauty and serenity of Beech Springs Farm.  Beech Springs Farm has a CSA program that provides a complete food experience for locals and visitors.  This event is a true farm-to-table experience, celebrating Adams County’s regional offerings and agriculture!
