May 3, 2024 School Lunch Hero Day Nationwide A chance to showcase the difference school nutrition professionals make for every child who comes through the cafeteria. May 4, 2024 Annual Washington Crossing Brewfest Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania Held at Washington Crossing Historic Park, the site where George Washington and his troops crossed the Delaware River on Christmas night in 1776. Brewfest will offer beer tasting, music, and food and will benefit this historic landmark. May 4-5, 2024 - Strawberry Festival - Lahaska, Pennsylvania The weekend will include strawberry-themed food, beverages, live music, food trucks, kids’ activities, and shop specials. Peddler’s Village shops will be open until 8 p.m. on Saturday. Admission and parking are free. Rain or shine. May will be Strawberry Month at Peddler’s Village. May 5, 2024 Sly Fox Bock Fest & Goat Race - Pottstown, Pennsylvania Held on the first Sunday of May every year, the event has become one of the Philadelphia area's favorite beer-focused celebrations. A German menu complements one of the largest offerings of bock beers in the US. The running of the ruminants finishes near the festival area. May 11, 2024 Dillsburg PickleFest - Dillsburg, Pennsylvania PickleFest activities include a Street Fair featuring a variety of Arts and Crafts vendors along with businesses, local organizations and food vendors. The Pickle Chase 5K that benefits Miranda's Smile begins at 9:00 am (registration at Maple Shade Barn starting at 7:00 am), followed by the 1 Mile Fun Run for the kids.
