October 2-5, 2024 New Holland Farmers Fair New Holland, Pennsylvania Every year the streets of New Holland close to traffic and the center of town transforms into a celebration of farm and community. The crisp autumn air is sweetened with funnel cake, hot cinnamon rolls, and cotton candy. Laughter rings out and dazzling lights shine on the midway filled with thrilling rides and games of chance. Livestock events: Sheep, Swine, Goat, and Rabbit Shows; Parades; Long John Eating Contest; Safe Tractor Driving Contest October 4, 2024 Harrisburg Wine and Fine Spirits Festival Harrisburg, Pennsylvania A wide variety of wines and spirits will be offered to Pennsylvanians – something to meet every taste! – and this event provides attendees opportunities to sip, sample and savor special offerings. October 4-5, 2024 66th Annual Springs Folk Festival Springs, Pennsylvania A celebration of the arts, skills and labors of our forefathers. Watch the women baking bread and weaving, the men hewing logs and threshing grain and the children enjoying themselves on an old-time hayride. October 4-6, 2024 14th Annual Berwick Riverfest Berwick, Pennsylvania Over 150 food and craft vendors. Bands will be on both stages all weekend playing everything from country, to classic rock and oldies. Garden Tractor Pullers are prepared for one of the largest and biggest events on the East Coast. As Riverfest continues to expand with all your favorite foods and crafts, the entertainment will be growing as well with the addition of everyone’s favorite Pig Racing held with 5 shows daily. Nearly 100 classic and antique cars, near the air boat rides. Parking, Free Admission, and Free Entertainment. Attendance: 50,000. October 4-6, 2024 Annual Applefest Celebration Franklin, Pennsylvania The small town of Franklin welcomes more than 100,000 visitors to Applefest each year. The festival features more than 300 arts & crafts vendors, amazing food, live entertainment and more. Popular returning events include the Apple Pancake Breakfast, 5K Race for Any Pace, and the Antique & Class Car Cruise that brings in more than 500 cars. The festival was named to the list of Top 100 Events of 2012 by the American Bus Association. Attendance: 100,000.
October 5, 2024 Annual Kennett Brewfest Kennett Square, Pennsylvania The Kennett Brewfest is a fundraising event with all proceeds going to Historic Kennett Square, a non-profit organization working to keep Kennett Square a regional economic and cultural center. The Kennett Brewfest is intended to be an opportunity to sample some of the best regional and national craft beers accompanied by great food, great music, and great people. October 5-6 & 12-13, 2024 60th Annual National Apple Harvest Festival Biglerville, Pennsylvania The National Apple Harvest Festival, which is held during the first two weekends in October, has been celebrating beautiful crafts, great music and wonderful food for over forty years. The festival has something for everyone with hundreds of arts and crafts dealers, demonstrations, contests, food stands, and entertainment. At the South Mountain Fairgrounds and is held outdoors rain or shine! Attendance: 100,000. October 6, 2024 Annual West Chester Chili Cookoff West Chester, Pennsylvania Hosted by the West Chester Rotary Club, the event is always held the second Sunday in October. Proceeds benefit many local charities. October 12, 2024 Harvest Fest Street Fair - Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Visit Historic Downtown Bethlehem on Saturday, from 12pm-5pm for the Harvest Festival! October 12, 2024 Tunkhannock Rotary Harvest and Wine Festival Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania The Festival is held in Tunkhannock's Lazybrook Park featuring mature trees and a beautiful flowing creek. The perfect fall setting in, Pennsylvania's Endless Mountian Region for enjoying excellent food and wine, while admiring the 50 wonderful craft and food vendors. Plus 13 wineries to choose from.
