November 9, 2024
Annual Old-Fashioneds Up North - Eagle River, Wisconsin
Eagle Waters Resort.  Northwoods bartenders put their skills to the test in our Old Fashioned making competition.  Each restaurant will be represented by bartenders who are limited to two Old Fashioned recipes.  Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided and there will be live entertainment with a supper club feel throughout the evening.  The tasting competition will run from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm with the People’s Choice Award winners being announced at 8:30 pm.  Tickets are $85 in advance (online only starting September 1st).  No tickets will be sold at the door.

November 22, 2024  Downtown Baraboo Wine Walk
Baraboo, Wisconsin
A taste of wine, some tasty treats and a leisurely stroll around town with friends. A fundraiser for the Baraboo Food Panty.

November 23, 2024  Holiday Light Parade - Baraboo, Wisconsin
See glittering lighted floats, reindeer and equestrian units, marching bands, and novelty units. Witness Santa as he lights the Official Downtown Baraboo Holiday Tree. After the parade, children and families are invited to visit with Santa and have their pictures taken.

November 23, 2024  Wi-Does Wine Walk - Eagle River, Wisconsin
An enjoyable afternoon of shopping and wine sampling at the “Widow’s Wine Walk”  from Noon – 5:00pm.  Each participant will receive a wine tasting glass, the opportunity to sample up to 15 of more than 20 options and a map of participating businesses.  Many businesses will be having special sales as well.

December 7, 2024  Christmas Kick-off - Eagle River, Wisconsin
Riverview Park from 4pm – 6:30pm.  Children will have the opportunity to share their Christmas Wishes with Santa.  Hot Dogs and Brats along with cookies and hot cocoa will be available.  Take in the Christmas lights at 5pm when we light the Eagle River Christmas Tree.  Then while enjoying all the festivities in the park, listen to carolers while warming around the campfire and take a horse-drawn sleigh ride.

December 31, 2024  Sartori Big Cheese Drop - Plymouth, Wisconsin
Plymouth celebrates New Year's Eve with the annual Big Cheese Drop, held at the Plymouth Arts Center. The highlight of the event is marked by a countdown and the lowering of a giant wedge of Sartori’s world award-winning BellaVitano Gold Cheese .

November 13-14, 2021  Holiday Harvest Wine & Food Festival
Various, Wisconsin
Start your celebration of the season by enjoying holiday foods and wines on the Great River Road Wine Trail!   Each ticket holder will receive a wine trail glass and a six-bottle wine tote at the first winery visited. Their ticket and wine glass will entitle the holder to free wine and food tasting at each winery. You can pay for your ticket at the winery or online, using PayPal. Online purchasers should bring their PayPal receipt to the first winery visited. Plan to enjoy the event for the entire weekend, and visit all nine wineries! Start as far away as you can, and work your way home!!  Please have a designated driver (sorry no wine tasting, but a lot of great local food). Designated driver tickets are $15 per person.  Enjoy the featured wines and ciders paired with holiday foods, at each of the wineries on the Trail!

December 4, 2021  Christmas at Richfield Historical Park
Richfield, Wisconsin - EVENT CANCELED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.
Visit two historic buildings in the Richfield Historical Park during the Christmas in Richfield event. The Mill House decorations include a German Christmas tree where children can search for a pickle ornament (German custom). If they find it, they can pick a prize. Sing-along carols will be played on the upright piano. Homemade cookies and hot cider heated on a wood burning stove will be served.

November 29, 2018 - Taste of Chocolate Bites & Lights
Janesville, Wisconsin
Rotary Botanical Gardens. Join us, 5-7 p.m. for a night of delectable eats, decadent treats and the magic of the Holiday Lights. Only a limited amount of tickets will be available for this exclusive cocktail party, so grab yours today!  Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres begin at 5 p.m. Live music.  A fabulous silent auction will highlight the night and the Garden Gallery will be open for shopping.
