Some foods just don't go together;
Their attitudes and natures clash.
No one needs to question whether
Chateau Rothschild wine belongs with hash.
Shrimp and crab should not be placed
Without their shells on a bed of rice.
If served that way they'd be disgraced,
"No shells, in someone else's bed? Not nice!"
So be aware when you plan a meal
To keep from doing culinary wrong.
Consider how the ingredients feel
And make sure that they can get along.
